i love this hotel i have been going there fro many years and the property is stunning. very nice tropical vibe . would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a peaceful stay in contact with nature

One of my favorite hotels in East Bali—and honestly, in all of Bali. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, with only a limited number of rooms, so it never feels crowded. The property features a beautifully expansive lawn garden, creating a serene and refreshing vibe. The buildings themselves are older, yet meticulously maintained, giving a sense of timeless elegance and understated luxury.

I loved the property. The rooms were nice and spotless. The staff is amazing, attentive and friendly. Everyone immediately remembers your name. Food was great. I really enjoyed the home made danish pastries for breakfast. The pool was nice and was cleaned several times a day. I had to go to the doctor during my stay, which was kindly arranged by the reception staff. The hotel car drove me to the doctor and back to the hotel free of charge. I also was allowed to check out 2 hours late, also free of charge.

From what I saw on the pictures, I expected that there would be access to the ocean via stairs. However, this does not seem to be the case, especially since there is construction going on. I was not really bothered by the construction noise but I could see how it might bother others. Please train your drivers how to properly use Google Maps. The driver had a lot of problem navigating through Kuta which resulted in a 30 minute detour and eventually, me walking to my hotel.

The staff were really good and tried to do their best with what the management provides them with (which unfortunately is not much).

The list is big - Rooms too small, showers not working, Hair Conditioner not coming out, Cheap Plastic Toxic Kettles, Swimming pool strange depth, Food portions in ala carte menu Super Small portions at least for Limited Vegan options especially if you look at the prices of each dish. Normally one portion should be enough but here no. You cannot go anywhere else as you're in the middle of nowhere.

I write this on our last night of our three night stay. Our first stop on our honeymoon. This is a really magical place and exactly what we wanted. Peace, tranquility and luxury. This is not the hotel for you if you’re looking for ample facilities and the buzz of a large resort. Instead, offering a purposeful opposite. An intimate and deeply relaxing and luxuriously peaceful spot. The hotel itself is visually stunning - reminiscent of an ancient palace. The grounds are well kept and the room was immaculate. We stayed in the seaside suite which was very comfortable, impressive and fully equipped with all the amenities we could want. Including additional and thoughtful touches like the bed having a mixture of pillow firmness (subtle, but for a comfort queen a very appreciated touch!) Less is more speaks volumes here - with the details all considered. For example, no annoying radio background music and instead just the sound of the wind rushing through the greenery and the waves crashing on the shore. And by the evening, mesmeric traditional live music that fits into the scenery without being distracting. The staff treated us like old friends, addressing us by name and going above and beyond to make our stay special. Like bringing flowers, fruit and treats to our room. We had the best massage of our lives at the spa - which is set up by the ocean and lulls you into a deep state of relaxation. The food I thought was outstanding. An ample menu. My husband and I shared our mains each evening to make sure we could try everything we wanted to, and there was not one meal we did not think was delicious. The chefs nail both the eastern and western options. Breakfast was fantastic with seasonal fruit, juices, and freshly cooked food to order from the menu (no buffet!) - our eggs Benedict was fantastic and came within 10 minutes. Not a problem for us but worth noting The beach is not accessible due to it being rocky, however, a more accessible beach along that coast is in development so this will only bring more to the hotel in the future. We regretfully leave tomorrow, but in the deeply relaxed state we have been in since arriving. We will remember our stay very fondly and hope to come back in the future.
