The location is stunning — just a stone’s throw from Yala National Park, yet tucked away in peaceful greenery. The perfect mix of comfort and authentic local charm. The service truly sets this place apart. The team went above and beyond, arranging safari trips, giving helpful recommendations, and making sure every detail of our stay was flawless. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with breathtaking surroundings and unforgettable hospitality, Yakaduru is a must. We left with incredible memories and can’t wait to return!

Eine einzigartige Unterkunft mit extrem freundlichen Mitarbeitern! Ich hatte die Villa mit eigenem Pool, mitten in der Natur. Ein besonderes Erlebnis im Pool zu sein und diese vielfältigen Geräusch wahrzunehmen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Küche und der Mitarbeiter Moorthy der immer da war und den perfekten Service lieferte. Ich habe ebenfalls das Ganztagessafari und Moondrive über das Hotel organisiert und beides war ein einzigartiges Erlebnis.

Een geweldig mooie plek , vlakbij de ingang van yala national park. We hebben genoten hier. Leuke huisjes, heerlijk eten en supervriendelijk personeel. Een echte aanrader. De gratis bushwalk die ze aanbieden was echt heel erg leuk.

De safari viel een beetje tegen. Weinig dieren gezien en al vroeg bij de ingang staan, waar de chauffeur je een uur neerzet en zelf gaat, dit was beetje nutteloos.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Yakaduru - Yala and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The location is perfect, very close to the entrance of Yala National Park, making it extremely convenient for safaris. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt very well taken care of throughout our three-night stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond – special thanks to Moorthy and Hasitha for making our stay so memorable. On our first evening, we joined a complimentary guided walk around the property where we already spotted crocodiles, an iguana, birds, and even a turtle – a great start to our wildlife experience. The safaris were fantastic, and we were lucky to see many animals, including lots of elephants and even a leopard during our full-day safari. Everything was very well organised, from the early morning safari to the moon drive in the evening. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered several options to choose from, lunch was delicious, and dinners were a real highlight – especially the BBQ night with a great selection of food, a cozy campfire, and a beautiful atmosphere under the stars. We also really enjoyed the traditional dance performance, which was a unique and memorable experience. The pool area was perfect for relaxing between activities, with comfortable sunbeds and hammocks. Overall, we felt incredibly comfortable and well looked after at all times. We would highly recommend Yakaduru - Yala to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable safari experience.

Ich hatte einen wirklich unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Es war eine rundum besondere Erfahrung – eine „Full Experience“, die man so nicht alle Tage erlebt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: Alle Mitarbeiter waren durchweg sehr höflich, unglaublich hilfsbereit und herzlich. Egal, was wir gebraucht haben, es war immer sofort jemand zur Stelle, um uns zu unterstützen. Auch das Essen hat uns absolut überzeugt – sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Ein weiteres großes Plus war die Möglichkeit, die Safari direkt über das Hotel zu buchen. Dadurch mussten wir nicht anstehen, was den gesamten Ablauf deutlich entspannter gemacht hat. Ein echtes Highlight war außerdem die Abendshow, die sehr spannend und unterhaltsam war – definitiv ein Erlebnis, das in Erinnerung bleibt. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Es war eine besondere und sehr schöne Erfahrung!

We had an incredible stay at Yakaduru! The crew was exceptionally warm-hearted and always eager to fulfill all our wishes. The bush walk around the resort followed by “Tea on the Rock” was truly special — we saw many animals, including the highlight of freely living crocodiles. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and the cultural dance show in the evening was a beautiful way to experience a bit of Sri Lankan culture. Our full-day safari with Kalindu the next day was simply fantastic. We saw leopards and all the animals we had hoped for, surrounded by stunning nature. It was wonderful not to feel rushed — we drove peacefully through the national park and could fully enjoy the experience. Kalindu is a really cool and easygoing person, and we would definitely go on another safari with him. He even prepared breakfast and lunch for us — just perfect! A heartfelt thank-you to the whole Yakaduru team for making our stay unforgettable!

This resort surprised me. The reviews and pictures online don’t do it justice. It is very beautiful, felt luxurious and the people are wonderful! We thought this stay was going to be a bit more rustic and less comfortable since it is in the national park but on the contrary, it is a wonderful boutique resort! The dancers and show every night was a lively u expected treat and they are great!

10/10 amazing stay! This was not just a place to sleep but a complete experience in itself, you are so immersed in nature, whilst feeling safe and at home. The food is delicious and plentiful, rooms are clean and the staff are so friendly. Cannot recommend enough!
