Yakaduru - Yala

De locatie, naast het Yala park maar ook dit romantische resort zelf, echt prachtig. Wanneer je kunt zeker gaan.

Yakaduru ist definitiv ein wahres Juwel- Shehan und sein Team lesen den Gästen alle Wünsche von den Lippen an und verstehen es Kindern und Erwachsenen die wunderschöne Natur und Tierwelt zu erklären und näherzubringen. Die Anlage ist authentisch gebaut mit Naturmaterialien und man hört und sieht die Geräusche der Natur. Die Entspannung setzt sofort ein! Das Essen ist phantastisch und der Yala Nationalpark ist sehr nah. Tea on the Rocks ist ein weiteres Highlight. Vielen Dank für diesen großartigen Aufenthalt!

Staff were very attentive and friendly, the property was very clean and just the vibes you want for a safari visit. They offer a free bush walk which was great as we were lucky enough to see elephants and we ended it with food on the rock at sunset. The food was very yummy too, best chicken curry in Sri Lanka! They also had a couple of great traditional dance performances in the evening.

Next time we would book a guide for the safari as well as the driver as the driver wasn’t very informative

Schön in der Natur gelegen und ruhig. Der Moondrive war sehr schön und empfehle ich sehr. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gab immer sehr viel zu Essen.

Very special place. The staff are amazing, friendly, and very helpful—especially Nishantha, who made our stay even better. They organize great activities, including a live dance show, and the BBQ night was truly special and unforgettable. The whole experience feels unique, with many activities to enjoy. Just be aware that this is a camp, not a hotel—so you will see insects and frogs (they inform you in advance). There is also no air conditioning in the rooms, so it can be a bit hot, but for us it was okay. One thing we didn’t like was the situation with the manager. Before the safari, he gave us two bottles of water without asking us or telling us they cost extra. At checkout, he said they cost $4 but that he would “make it free” for us. Honestly, we didn’t like this approach—we never asked for the water, and it felt like he was trying to present it as a favor or discount, which wasn’t really the case. It would have been better to either not include it at all, or clearly ask us in advance and explain the price. Overall, despite this, the experience was very good. Highly recommended. Thank you all!

Moorthy and the wildlife man were great. Wildlife-lizards,Chipmunks and more. Semi outdoor sleeping experience was incredible. Entertainment

The bathroom needs to be swept and cleaned more often. Slightly dangerous suction filter in the pool. Could have more choice of food.

Yakaduru war eines unserer Highlight der ganzen Sri Lanka Reise. Das Personal war äusserst freundlich, die Unterkunft mit Pool war grandios und die Safari atemberaubend. Das Essen wurde immer frisch zubereitet und war extrem lecker. Chathu unser Safari - Guide war unglaublich sympathisch, hat eine riesige Expertise & hat es sogar geschafft unseren sehnlichsten Wunsch einen Leoparden in der freien Wildbahn zu sehen erfüllt. Ausserdem konnten wir mit ihm bereits bei einem Bush Walk um die Lodge herum Elefanten und unzählig schöne Vögel sehen. Yakaduru würde ich jedem weiter empfehlen und der Abschied fiel uns schwer, wir hätten unglaublich gerne noch mehr Zeit dort verbracht.
