The staff were excellent and food was great

You should be aware that there is no AC or refrigerator. The rooms aren’t sealed so if you are expecting this you will be disappointed If you enjoy this then you will have a thoroughly enjoyable stay

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and made us feel safe at the accommodation. In the evening we had amazing entertainment by Yakadura Dance Group, they did an amazing performance of local dances. The safari tour we booked and the expertise of the guide were excellent. We couldn't be more happy about booking this accommodation. Thank you so much !

Yakaduru is such a special place. The camp, staff and food are all 5*. The camp is in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. The camp is lit up at night by hanging lanterns and there are hanging seats where you can relax. The evenings were filled with delicious food options and the staff had even arranged for a traditional dance to be performed before and after dinner. The Yakaduru dancers were incredible! The room is stunning and the bathroom is large with a beautiful, open shower. The staff go above and beyond to make the whole experience impeccable, you could not ask for more. They even prepare your room at night to prevent mosquitos. The pool is small but idyllic and there are a selection of sunbeds and hammocks to relax in. The team are so professional and arranged the safari perfectly. We were the 1st to enter Yala national park which is only a short distance away. We wish we could have stayed longer.

There was nothing that we enjoyed during our stay.

We didn’t like the service provided by the staff. The staff was extremely rude and very impolite in terms with communication and service. Because of them, we had to really find a last minute hotel just for the sake of staying, as we didn’t have options and had to live in conditions that weren’t suitable. As we had decided not to proceed with the booking of the safari through them, they purposely cancelled our booking with them. Firstly, they had asked us to cancel the booking through booking.com and told us to book through them directly as they would provide the same rate, but we chose not to do that. While we were on our way to the hotel, they cancelled our booking. This happened 3 hours before our actual check-in time. They had deceived us under the pretext of “emergency” occurrence while they still had rooms available to book. We had to struggle till the very last minute to find an alternative as most of the places around were booked in advance. The staff knew what they did and were very cunning and irrational with the way they handled our booking. To anyone booking with Yakaduru-Yala, we highly recommend to save yourself the time, effort and money as they look to make money off You by booking you for a safari for a much higher price without your knowledge.

We simply had the most wonderful time at Yakaduru, the staff is amazing and the food we had was absolutely delicious - we loved the rooms, they gave you a proper safari feeling while still very comfortable and their pool was perfect for a little dip after the days adventures! I especially want to highlight their safari team, our driver and spotter were both absolutely amazing at knowing how to locate the animals (from knowing local bird warning calls to the more popular haunts of some of the leopards) and we had a brilliant encounter with so much wildlife, three leopards included!

it was such a cool unique experience and staff were amazing, food was delicious and location for safari was great and lovely views on top of the rock, nishantha took me and my sister for a walk around the property and had a lot of very interesting facts and knowledge about the wildlife it was great!
