Amazing friendly and helpful staff. We were particularly impressed by the attentiveness of Morethei in the restaurant and Nisha (abbreviated name - apologies!) with his abundant knowledge and passion for nature and conservation in Yala National Park. The resort was very clean but at one with nature. It was as described in the booking details and the standard of accommodation reflected this. The full board food was outstanding. There is an amazing chef working behind the scenes. We would love to come back one day!

There was enough electricity to charge phones but not sufficient for a hairdryer. This isn't so important in such a unique environment. Being at one with nature does mean the odd visitor in the room, which made the experience even more exciting. It's not every day you experience a frog leaping out of the toilet pan! We made some fabulous memories during our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Yakaduru Yala. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the food was consistently delicious. The activities were also fantastic, I would highly recommend both the bush walk and booking the safari through the lodge. The safari was a real highlight of our trip. We were lucky enough to see leopards, elephants, and crocodiles, making for an unforgettable experience. The team also paid great attention to the little details that made our stay extra comfortable. Each evening they burned incense in the room to help keep mosquitoes away, which was a thoughtful touch. The entire property had a wonderful atmosphere and a really relaxing, authentic vibe. Overall, I would highly recommend Yakaduru Yala to anyone visiting the area. We had a fantastic experience and would happily stay again.

We loved everything at Yala Yakadaru especially all the amazing staff, who are all so friendly. This was a truly amazing experience immersed in nature. Such a peaceful location amongst the flora and fauna of Sri Lanka.Nisantha was a fantastic host with an enormous amount of knowledge of the wildlife, birds and fauna of the area, which made our stay a wonderful way to learn about the natural world. Dammika was our safari guide who with the help of the driver ensured our half day safari will be a lifelong memory, saw elephants with their babies, bear, deer, buffaloes, crocodiles, and so many beautiful birds. Also Moorhy( I hope I’ve spelt that correctly) was a gem in the kitchen, always friendly and happy.

Excellent staff, taking care of us all time. Very respectful people working at the safari camp. We enjoyed the full day safari, visit to temples, etc. The food was great and the service even better. Lovely place, highly recommended for those outdoor lovers
