Great property, overlooking a tea estate. We stayed at the hideaway chalet and it was a wonderful experience. Very peaceful and the hotel staff was great!!

Although it's not too far from the town, it's in a jungle and the road to the hotel is in a bad condition. The hotel does not offer any sort of shuttle or transportation to the town. This is an issue if you don't want to eat at the hotel, since driving to the town is a hassle. The hotel food is decent, but is charged at a premium.

Breakfast too good, location is exquisite

The location of this property is excellent, offering a perfect setting to enjoy the natural surroundings. The staff are exceptionally accommodating and always ready to assist with any requests. The food at the restaurant is outstanding; I particularly appreciated their thoughtful gesture of providing us with a packed breakfast when we had an early morning tour planned. Overall, it’s an ideal spot for those looking to experience both comfort and nature.

We stayed in the Hideaway Chalet with a Valley View, which is the highest category room at this property and comes with a premium price. However, there are areas that need improvement to better align with the price point and overall resort standards. 1) Room Cleanliness & Maintenance: The room did not meet the cleanliness standards. Some refurbishment is necessary to bring it up to par. I’ve attached a few pictures illustrating the current state of the bathroom and room for your reference. 2) Safety Concerns: The chalet is located quite far from the main property, making it essential that the telephone facilities are operational at all times. During our stay, both the phone and internet were down multiple times, and I had to restart the system to reach the reception. While I was able to resolve the issue as I have an IT background, other guests may not be able to do the same, especially in an emergency, which could pose a significant safety risk. 3) Soundproofing: While I personally enjoyed the natural sounds from the surroundings, this room may not be suitable for guests who prefer a quiet environment for sleeping. Even with all the doors and windows closed, external noises were still audible. Improving the soundproofing would make the room more comfortable for a wider range of guests. 4) Room Blackout: The windows and doors do not provide proper blackout coverage. At night, the room is illuminated by streetlights, and during the day, it's impossible to achieve complete darkness. While the room's design is focused on showcasing nature, installing proper curtains or shades could easily solve this issue without compromising the natural experience. I chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews and pictures, and while the location is indeed stunning, a few improvements are needed to match the resort's value for money and meet the expectations of its premium offering.

Everything are nice

Clean, amazing location and friendly staff, prompt service and good food. Guided Nature hike was informative and very interesting.

Room AC wasn’t working. But the staff changed the room immediately.
