Le Village du Toubkal

I was staying in the hotel with my friend the night of the earthquake. The staff were incredible, caring and attentive and doing what they could in exceptional circumstances. Clearly our stay did not work out as we had anticipated due to the earthquake, we were unable to do any of the planned guided walks due to the unstable nature of the mountain range. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for how they coped and how they looked after us in extremely frightening circumstances.

The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The food was good and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped to arrange a great afternoon tour from the hotel.

The images give a bit of a false impression. There is building work going on all over imlil which has a huge impact on the views offered by the hotel. We went expecting to be surrounded by nature but instead felt we were in a building site. The terrace was very sparsely decorated and lacked comfortable places to sit and enjoy the view.

We had a great stay at Village de Toubkal. The personell is very friendly and we felt welcome from the start. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and from the terrace we had a beautiful view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend, especially as a starting point to climb mount toubkal

Big rooms with nice bathroom!

It was a pretty place overall. I think the photos and way it’s advertised made it appear a little more upscale. Lots of flies, no AC, and a bit worn but overall cute place for a short stay.

Superb location and view, quaint hotel, good service, nice breakfast

The morrocan breakfast was very good and hearty.The room was beautiful, it was well decorated and it had a berber house feel like. Maybe need a little maintenance. Terasse has one of the best view. We had dinner, it was one of the best tajine of our trip. The staff is very kind. Communication was easy, the manager Saïd replys quickly. The road to Imlil is not all paved and very narrow. Gladly, he planned for us the transfert from marrakech. The riad is not on the main road. You can access by car. There is local trails nearby, 15-20 min walk from the center of the village. The locals takes it easily everyday but we found it sometimes steep or rocky. If you wish to take good and more long trekking, trekking shoe are recommended. We were mostly in the village so we only needed running shoes. We really enjoyed our stay in this part of Morroco near the mountain. Very calm and nice people. Choukran from Canada

Calm and safe area, the property is surrounded by huge and beautiful mountains.

Everything was perfect.
