"A wonderful place to unwind in the jungle, with a fantastic staff."

This is an absolutely wonderful place with a superb staff. They couldn't possibly have been more attentive. The place is quiet, surrounded by jungle. I had one of the cabins and it was perfect.

The only problem I had was in checking out... they are not able to accept foreign credit cards. This is actually a communication problem of Booking.com. I assumed that since Booking had accepted my credit card it would be OK for payment. For foreigners they can only accept cash, so be sure to bring enough.

"A beautiful resort amidst thickly forested hills, with excellent staff and management."

The resort was nestled amidst several hills, with beautiful, lush forest all around. The property itself is quite simple but well-maintained, with a rustic, natural aesthetic. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food was simple but decent. I was very impressed by the courteous staff, who took care of us exceptionally well. Ram, the manager, was super-friendly and gave us a lot of travel tips and info, and made our stay extra-comfortable.

The food, while simple and nutritious, was nothing amazing. The buffet breakfast & à la carte lunch were pretty good, but the buffet dinner was somewhat disappointing. In particular, the Christmas Eve dinner was a bit of a letdown (especially for vegetarians). Food wasn't bad, mind you; just not the best part of the experience.
