Everything, max and noi are the sweetest people ever and both them and their lovely staff (and toby the pup) made our stay so wholesome and fun. Beautiful food, sunsets, surf and karaoke!! We originally came for two nights and kept extending until it was time for me to leave indo. We felt so happy and at home here i can’t wait to come back.

6 months pregnant travelling with my husband from Australia... Panorama Ekas is a beautiful sanctuary, in a very quiet part of Lombok, (no shopping, no hawkers, no cafes - few local warungs) that is here to guide you through a slowing down of self. It is place of calm, of bliss with a deep connection to the ocean; run by husband and wife duo that are genuine and phenomenal humans and ensure all their staff represent them with pride and kindness. If you're into boat trips to surf a few amazing world renowed breaks, snorkelling with gorgeous tropical fish, fresh seafood, living a gorgeous chill lifestyle of beautifully fresh made in house food with local ingredients (Italian and Indo specialities- the pasta dishes make you think of Italy and the spice of the local dishes reminds you where you are), surrounded by friendly and warm staff, coconut trees, beautiful views, stunning sunsets, music, sounds of boats and locals, warm salty air, fabulous pool and resort dogs that are beautiful in nature and kind to new visitors- then this is your place. You are greeted warmly every time you enter and leave. You are welcomed with open arms to enjoy this slow paced, warm and loving lifestyle. The rooms were built to be comfortable and connect to the space they are in, rad little beach shacks with modern amenities (hot showers, toilets, air cons, wifi, balconies to enjoy the sunset/ocean/pool) but Panorama wants you to enjoy everything outside that so much more. Allowing the owners/staff the opportunity to treat you to whatever your heart desires by communicating with them (giving them notice of what you would like to do- this is island life, all great things come with patience and kindess), you will have yourself a bounty of ocean inspired activities, delicious food, amazing conversation with people who want you to learn about Lombok, about Ekas and the Indonesian people.

Secret surfers’ paradise! Good food, amazing cute dog (!!) and all the comfort you need. The vibe is so open, it made us relax right away. Max and his wife are amazing people. It was also amazing to meet other guests that you surf with on the free boat (that comes at any time you want). We got some great surf photos, an amazing snorkeling trip (visited a lobster farm and they served it fresh at dinner!) and just loved the vibe here.

Not very much.

The list is long. We found 3 live cockaroaches in our room. We were in a family room what advertised with aircon. Only the upstairs room has an aircon. Not that it made any difference because it actually did not work and the room was unbearably hot. The power went off during the night (so no aircon or fan downstairs and no lights). When I mentioned it in the morning, the staff went to the back of the room and turned something on and magically it all worked again - too late for us. The shower literally dribbled water, then the showerhead fell off and the pipe from the gezer started leaking water. There was no hot water. You could not shower. I used the outside cold shower at the pool out of desperation. The toilet upstairs did not flush. The cistern in the downstairs toilet ran all night. There was dirty water in the "kitchen" sink when we arrived. There was no top sheet on the bed upstairs but there was on the downstairs bed. The staff could not speak English so it was impossible to communicate with them about any of this. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but left in the morning. We've been traveling through Lombok and Bali for 2 weeks and it was the worst place we've stayed in.

Might want to make sure the day before u want to surf that the boat leaves on time. Might want to book the boat a bit earlier than usual plan on going

A place more than perfect! We stayed for 5 nights there and it was difficult to leave. Noi, Max and their lovely team were amazing, they were really helpfull, they gave us all the good addresses and things to do around with locals, and they also know a lot of the history of the village. Food was really good, even if not everything on the menu is available all the time, is part of a travel in Indonesia and means everything is fresh! Pool is huge, rooms are clean and very nice. We will definitely come back one day, thank you for having us!!
