The pool is amazing! Such a chill vibe with friendly staff. Beautiful sunset. Nice food, especially the pasta. I had fun playing pool with Max and the Captain.

The owner Max and his wife make this property the best we stayed at on our travels. Yes the location is a little isolated and yes there is a mosque behind the accommodation but for us this didn’t matter. Max provides an awesome experience for his guests. His Italian flare and authentic pasta were very welcomed by us. His wife has the most amazing voice and will entertain you each night with singing any song you request. We loved playing pool and fuse ball each night

For the people that give this place a bad review. You have to remember that you are on a Muslim island in a fairly remote location in Indonesia. If you are looking for the typical Bali resort holiday this is not your place. However if you are looking for an authentic genuine experience where you’ll be treated like family and go on snorkeling adventures without seeing one tourist all day or going out on the boat to the local surf break and hang with the locals this is your place!!!

I particularly chose this place because I wanted to use the pool and have aircon after a few days staying in places with none. I booked two nights in the hope that I could relax there while my daughter went surfing. When I arrived I was disappointed to see that the pool was dirty and greenish and the place looked unkempt and unused for swimming. I decided I felt uncomfortable using it and I asked the manager if I could just stay one night as I was unhappy with the facility as it didn’t look like it did on booking. She said that she was not able to cancel my second night and that I could leave but I was still required to pay. She was bad tempered. When I got to my room I discovered that the aircon was not working properly and no fan was in the bedroom so it was actually hotter than the previous places we had stayed with no aircon. The sheets had cigarette burn holes in. The doors didn’t meet so that the mosquitoes were everywhere and there was the remains of someone’s spaghetti in the sink. The bedside light had no bulb. The place is next to the mosque and it was Ramadan and the prayers went until 3am. (I realise this is not the fault of the place but it really does require a mention as it is literally like being in the mosque) Generally the place is dirty and run down and I was unhappy to waste a day of my holiday there so we left the next morning even though we had been made to pay for an extra night. I have been travelling for 7 months and this place was undoubtedly the worst place I’ve stayed. It is really not as represented on booking so it leaves you feeling conned. Try Tunak cottage for a much better experience at the same price.

Everything . Very nice facilities, magical view, enormous pool, cost. Rooms in little bungalows decorated with love to make this a truly cozy stay! I will come back!

Epic boat transfer to the surf. The rooms are in front of the AmZing pool. The owners are aweome and it’s got good vibes.

It feels like ur in an Adam sandler romcom but it’s still aweome.
