Diwa Club by Alila - A Hyatt Brand

The amazing beach, stunningly beautiful hotel grounds, early check-in option, huge bathroom with great amenities, excellent swimming pools, all-day breakfast option.

The contract-like waiver form that I was asked to sign prior to a spa treatment (I ended up cancelling my spa treatment), lack of mosquito nets and screens or repellent in the hotel room, slow service (with very few exceptions) at the restaurants, food options not reflecting 5* standards, pool cleaning activities - including the installation of a noisy pump - outside the hotel rooms at around midnight.

Hospitality was second to none. Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The room was gorgeous as were the surroundings of the entire property. Food was also excellent with many choices to choose from! Special thanks to Chelsea for ensuring our stay met our expectations at every point of our stay and Robin for doing a great job cleaning the room. Highly recommended and will certainly come again!

More hotels should follow the lead of The Diwa Club and offer all day breakfasts, and sundowners. These things just absolutely elevate the whole vacation vibe. The resort itself is stunning, with lush landscaping, elegant architecture, and a peaceful ambiance that allowed us to fully unwind. We especially loved the exclusive pool area at The Diwa Club, which offered a quieter, more private setting, ideal for families seeking a tranquil retreat. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the personalised service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and they took the time to get to know our preferences, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Small, thoughtful touches made each day special—whether it was the little surprises in the room or the staff’s friendly greetings and readiness to assist.

There is nothing to not like. If I was to nitpick, I would say the beach shuttle could be better organised during rush hours. But It was at best a relatively minor and trivial inconvenience.
