The Hillside Cottages

The stay was very good, property location was amazing so was the staff. Rooms were clean and all necessary consumables are provided like a 4 star hotel. They arranged bone fire for us when we arrived at evening chilling cold weather. Dinner and breakfast was good

Bathroom doors and curtain rods need some maintenance. During the curtain adjustment rod fell down and bathroom door stuck during open close.

Exceptional location.. superb views.. no tv so you can be with nature completely.. Tasty food on demand.. quick service..

Arrange for generators that can keep the heaters running during winters as the temperature easily go down below 0.

What an excellent trip. The location is away from all the hustle and bustle from the city. Luckily for us the place was not crowded so we enjoyed the quietness. Being pahadis, working in the city, this place was exactly what we needed. If someone wants to get on touch with nature and spend just some quiet time, this is the place. Manish and Anil bhaiya were so respectful and were present all the time. Food needless to say was amazing. I would say please respect such spaces and respect the local people around. Do not create ruckus.

If you are expecting a 5-star facility this might not be the place for you. Don't get me wrong the place is beautiful but obviously in the pahad, interior areas you don't get a 5-star facility but that's exactly what you need to stay down to earth and be grateful for our beautiful mountains. 😂 I know this sounds preachy but trust me once you visit you'll reconnect with the mountains if you are a pahadi and you have been living in busy cities now.

The location, Food, and the view - AWESOME!

Only the scenery.

The area of the cottage was not clean. The staff is not professional. Not worth the money. Not good for families especially for kids. Signal issue, so mobile communication is challenging. Even no intercom there...most of the time you are looking for staff.

The location is just out of this world. Truly heavenly. Surrounded with beautiful lush green vistas and the mountains...it was truly a magical experience. Add to that the Bonfire at night and the outdoor green spaces, one could explore the nature around and go for nature walks. The staff was welcoming and helpful as well. The food was homely with decent options. We really enjoyed our stay here and are definitely recommending it and coming back again with friends and family.

The bed size is small so for two full grown heavy adult individuals it might became a bit uncomfortable. Also, it's a small 1-2 mins walk uphill.
