The Hillside Cottages

I like the location because it is situated in Village so one should roam around like behind the cottage there is local forest and village kind of small tracking one should not miss and Staff were polite. I visited this place in the beginning of Oct month so weather was too good. night and day cold and during a day soothing weather. Not much crowd like other places so if you are looking for peace this is the place. around this place visit Surkunda Devi temple so beautiful. there are 3 ways to reach the temple. one is start from the back side through forest which is approximately 3 km before Surkunda Temple when you are traveling from Jwarna Village, second from the main entry tracking third rope way which was quite good experience. I would recommend to go from the forest you will love view. Then i visited Tehri it was so so experience because could not find much except boating in tehri lake they wont let you visit Tehri DAM, one bridge you may find amusing if you could stay little late in the evening till 730 Pm like signature bridge in Delhi(lighting and all). overall i love the place because i like tracking.

Though room size is issue if you traveling with kids but we were able to manage because we had only one kid. Food is bit costly and for room services no extension so you have to make voice call to get services. No electric kettle no on arrival refreshments. No proper car parking although it was manageable(Parked the car on road). always ask about your food order how end product will look like. I ordered chicken fried rice but it was boiled chicken rice no vegetables like we get in Delhi so be aware.
