The food can b better

Country House is a wonderful place to stay in Lachen, offering beautiful mountain views from some rooms (they’ll happily provide one if available). It’s run by a group of kind, young boys who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Despite the cold weather, they ensured we were warm with electric bed warmers and a heater. The breakfast was a highlight—especially the chole bhature, which was light, non-oily, and one of the best I’ve had. A special mention for their thoughtfulness: after I slipped on the way back from Yumthang and got drenched, they kindly gave me a room to change in even though we had already checked out. Truly heartwarming hospitality

It was a lovely stay at the Country House. The location was great, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and courteous. The woody setting was also amazing. The beds were warm and comfortable especially with the bed warmers.Overall it was a great stay.

No elevator/ramps for people with mobility issues.
