The Allure Grand Resort -A Majestic Riverside Retreat

It is a beautiful property located along the Beas river. It has a nice garden with a bar & fruit bearing trees around. One can pay the corkage charges of 1500 + taxes (may change) & be served your own liquor. The ambience is good with views of green & snowbearing mountains. However, the river is a bit noisy due to the big boulders in the river bed but one can talk easily. Staff is polite, food is good. Charges are reasonable. Property has rooms facing the main road & a nearby mountain accross, avoid these. The others are facing the river & the valley accross with great views, go for these.

If you book through a booking site the property is likely to allot you rooms with the road & nearby mountain face. So ask for the river & valley view rooms & preferably on third floor if possible.

Overpriced rooms and spa service. Rooms need to have soundproofing, which is sorely needed with the kind of noise in the morning of guests and vaccum cleaning. Staff requires more training to not wake up guests if do not disturb sign is on.

The Resort has an excellent location, the property of the resort is excellent too. The staff right from housekeeping to restaurant staff are very good in hospitality. The Management staff including front desk executives are very supporting and helpful. They were super helpful in very cold conditions with very heavy snowfall.

It would be nice if there were sound proof rooms ..there was some music band going on and lots of music into the room
