Hidden Lagoon Resort

I liked the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. There was a possibility for airport pick-up and bringing to the harbour on day of departure. There was the possibility for room cleaning every day. It was nice& quiet at the location. Pool was clean. There was free drinking water. We could rent a scooter from the property (500php) and ask for laundry (200php)

The road towards the property was slippery, especially when it rained it did not feel safe. There was a vegetarian filipino breakfast option missing.

Everything is okay except for the road leading to the property.

Really hidden from the crowd, the name Hidden Lagoon is well chosen ☺️ Best is to rent a motorcycle and the town proper of Alona Beach is like 5-10 min ride depending on the traffic. The pool is awesome, slope towards the middle and then a deeper part, I guess around 2,50m. Daily morning maintenance, well taken care off. The staff is verrrrrry friendly and gives all assistance needed.

The road going there is hardened by gravel (not cemented) which is not so convenient, but on the other hand, that is what makes this place so quiet and peacefull.

A really nice place to stay for a few days.The staff are nice and friendly and helpful and the accommodation is nice and clean.I would recommend this place to anyone.Just a heads up as others have previously mentioned the road to the property is quite bad so be prepared.

stuff was friendly, but hotel is SCAM!

I will book one room first, for one night. I decided to extend the hotel and chose a more expensive and bigger room. When I received the new room, it turned out that it was the same 24 square meters as the previous one, but I simply paid more money for it. When I asked if this is not the room I booked, I was told that they see the customer for the first time, who counts the square meters he reserved. People be careful if you reserve your room in this hotel for example for a family, maybe you will get any small room because they don’t give shit about your square meters what you book! When i ask owner contact e-mail, they block my number. Scam! Watch the pictures!

I love the place , worth the price, the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s just hard to get a transportation in the area due to its location. But it’s peaceful , quiet and very relaxing especially the pool. Thank you for the staff especially Maria.

The pool is really nice and it’s handy that they have an onsite restaurant. The local dogs are cute. Aircon is good. Room is a good size. This place did save me from a hell hole hostel (Mad Monkey)

WiFi does not work here at all. Like all the other reviews, yes the road into the property is bad. We decided to ignore this as yes they do warn you but we are experienced drivers. We fell off the bike leaving the property one day because it is too slippy with mud but there is no other way. The staff are quite unprofessional and constantly dealt with other customers in the middle of our queries. They ask me to do one thing then ask me to do another way with booking. Multiple times we had to ask for things twice. We asked for fresh towels and they gave us wet towels , not useful if I’m using it for drying myself? Staff laughed at my partner when he asked for a bucket for me to be able to wash my hair as there is no water pressure. Not sure what’s the joke? Every time we ordered food it felt like we were annoying them because off the scoffs and laziness to take an order from us. It’s funny because they have a great attitude to Filipino tourists. Just not foreign people. On NYE we were told we could stay in the pool because it’s NYE. Acted like they were doing us a favour but they closed it early so really they wernt. With kids running. Around waking us up at 7am some mornings it’s not quite the hidden lagoon experience we hoped for
