Sea Scene Resort

incredible location. if you are wanting paradise then this is pretty much near it for your very very reasonable price. the staff are incredibly helpful, above and beyond what any western hospitality would provide.. good manners towards the Thai people would be nice to see. in room 16 beds are clean and firm , approx 3 foot wide for the singles and double approximately 5 .5 foot wide, no kettle. kettle is in a slightly more expensive room on the beach front. room 16 you could step onto the beach within 20 metres at most. breakfast choice of fruit, Muslie, porridge, scrambled egg, fried egg, toast and jam, orange juice, tea, coffee. ask at the resort for a taxi, they have their own local , slightly more elderly(so very safe ) driver. most journeys were 100 baht. booking . com don’t make it easy for them when it comes to bed selection.

beach of the resort is very beautiful. nice to wake up with this view on the sea.cleaning every day.good location and quiet at night.

garden room is small and super basic. almost no pressure in the shower, so washing a hair was difficult.

Quiet and piecefull place, very friendly staff, simple but clean bungalow with nice balcony

Interior and especially the bathroom was a bit old, the frontdoor had a gap just big enough for insects and little geckos to easily get into the bungalow.

Most beautiful beach on the island. Amazing sunsets. Very quiet. Breakfast was ok, quite some options. Staff is very friendly and cleaning of rooms daily!

Shower is a little basic, but definitely ok enough.

We had the seafront bungalow which gave us absolute privacy since it's away from the rest of the bungalows. We were met at the ferry port by private taxi which was prebooked while on the ferry, 200 Baht. We also rented a 125cc scooter for our stay via reception for 250 Baht daily. We used the resort's kayak to paddle over to the island close by, just 5km there and back. Cost was 120 Baht p hour. Breakfast was OK.
