Everything was exceptionally good! Our first trip to an island and this place just made us to fall in love with it ❤️ The room itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked the wooden interior, it merged organically to the nature around. All windows have mosquito net but they still get inside when you open the door. We took an anti mosquito smoking spiral with us and didn’t have any issues for all 3 nights. But the main value is the view and surroundings! The hotel is directly at the beach which is perfect to observe amazing sunsets. There are also big rocks in the sea that add bright accents to the sea view. And there are a lot of fish, crabs, sea urchins and sea cucumbers around them so you can snorkel in a high tide right where you stay. The beach is small but nice and tidy. It was cleaned every day so we didn’t see a single sandfly there. Although the beach of the next hotel was filled with them. All bungalows are located in a beautiful very well kept garden! It’s a true pleasure to just walk around, look at the palm trees and flowers and feel the connection to nature without losing features of comfortable living. There are lots of butterflies and birds in the garden so we were waking up with birds singing every morning and it was so peaceful! The resort is located 3 km away from the Thongsala pier so the area is quiet and not busy. The bungalows stand a bit downhill from the road so you don’t even hear any transport passing by. There are a lot of other hotels with restaurants and bars around but not a single market so you need to have a private transport to go to the town for shopping. We’re very grateful to the staff of the hotel, they were just incredible! Top notch service in all meanings! They helped us to fix the mistake with booking, explained how to get to the places we wanted, called a taxi for us and were always ready to help with any matter. Every morning we had delicious breakfast which we could choose from various options.
