Hotel Mystic Mountain

We had a wonderful experience at Mystic Hotel, especially in the restaurant. A special thanks to Bal Kr. Shrestha, who provided us with such warm, attentive, and friendly service. He was extremely polite and made sure we were comfortable. Not just him, the restaurant manager and the entire staff were also very kind, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel really well taken care of.

The hotel staff Karuna has been most helpful and hospitable. Provided great service, recommended local food for us to try!

The hotel is expanding and undergoing major renovation. Noisy, dusty and obstructing the supposedly nice view. We have been upgraded to a suite. However, seems like the room has not been used for a while, toilet flush was not working and the remote control for curtain was also not working. The hotel sound proof is bad. Neighbour had been talking in their balcony and can be heard very clearly. This went on till 11:30pm. We had reached the state that had to call hotel to intervene. Unfortunately, the so called 24 hours service was not working. No one pick up the call. We had called the same number in the day time to fix the above mentioned problems and the number works. We received great service from all other Nepal hotel staff throughout our 10 days of stay. However, most hotel staff we interacted in Hotel Mystic Mountain are no way near there, except Karuna that I mentioned above.

Such a beautiful property set in a beautiful setting! We loved everything about it and the staff couldn’t do enough to help and meet all our needs and wishes. Thank you!

Great views with outdoor patio/balcony, room was nice and comfortable. The hotel transport to the airport was big and spacious, and was a comfortable ride. Staff were helpful. Premila at the restaurant was very attentive and helpful. She checked in on us to see what we needed, helping to order the omelettes/tea and serving us the orders.

Staff were sometimes too helpful/proactive. I had a plate of bread which was half eaten as i was intending to eat other items. A few staff came to check three or four times if they could clear the plate. This was a little disruptive to my meal and i had to reject them each time. Location of hotel was a little hard to get to but it was understandable since it was a mountain top hotel.
