Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Kumarakom

The facilities,food and the property as a whole was good. This was the thitd time iam coming here- stayed twice and once came for Onam celebration and lunch .

All staff were very welcoming and friendly. But the way we were treated for checkout by the reception staff (🤔) was very rude and spoiled the mood.

Excellent stay. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Well trained too. The location was great. Right on the backwater lake of Kumarakom. The food was amazing. We will surely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were extremely cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help. The property itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast and Dinner was excellent with variety of dishes.

Beautiful view of the sunset however sunset boat ride was cancelled due to bad weather forecast. Staff were helpful.

Is this a nice hotel? Yes. Is it a 5 star hotel as advertised? No. The walls were incredibly thin in our room, to the point where the guest next door was snoring so loudly that it felt like they were in the same room as us. Many families with young children here, often dominating the pool facilities and the areas - would not necessarily recommend for a romantic getaway. Food options can be limited for allergies/dietary requirements and we had extremely slow service at dinner.
