The location of this place is amazing. The views and the beach are the best anywhere. Also, the staff here work very hard to make your stay a great one. Loved everything about it.

What could be more dreamy than sleeping to the sound of waves and waking up to glorious sunrises?! The rooms are huge and well appointed, each one is ocean-facing with a patio. I could not get over how beautifully designed this resort is, with an infinity pool, a second pool nearby, comfortable loungers, and a variety of loungers, beach beds, and hammocks on the beach. It blends nicely onto to the cliffs with desert gardens weaving throughout. It's just stunning. A minor hickup was quickly resolved. I requested a room change almost immediately. As a solo woman there to rest I didn't like being sandwiched between a noisy family and two chatty women getting drinks delivered to the room (#5), so they put me in a much more serene section which was also closer to the restaurant and pools. I only had dinners there, and the food was pricy but excellent.

The long row of rooms (#22) I was first put in is not at all easy to get your stuff into from the parking. I was there at night and couldn't quite figure out where the passages were. Where I was moved to, I could park right in front of it which was awesome. It wasn't a problem for me but the resort would be difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility issues, so be aware of that. It's a desert landscape, there is sand and stones and even driving there is tricky. Don't make the mistake I did of using the oceanside dune buggy trail from Los Barriles! It was pretty scary in spots! Stick to the mountain road, it seems longer but trust me it isn't, and also it's a stunning drive. Either way the approach to the resort is on sand roads, some sections quite bumpy, so make sure your car is up for it (my rental Jimny was!). Also make sure you have enough gas, and watch out for cows! The staff seemed young and inexperienced, but they are all trying their best. Google translate is your friend. A petty detail: the paper straws. They suck (well, actually, they don't). Bring your own if you can, or watch their's dissolve in your margarita. The high top metal chairs and tables are terrible. You can't move them easily, not without making terrible scrapy noises. They could do better than that, and create a more cozy bar. Lastly, the mattress was way too firm for me, so I ended up sleeping on the futon which I found really great, especially since it was closer to the patio door for ocean breezes all night.

Super schönes Hotel. Ausblick von der Terrasse unfassbar schön - super Lage wenn man entspannen möchte. Equipment für Schnorchel, Stand-Up Paddel und Kayak alles im Preis enthalten! Sehr zu empfehlen, dann im Riff auch alle möglichen tropischen Fische zu sehen sind.

Traumhafte Lage, abseits von Los Barilles. Tolle Bucht zum Schnorcheln!

Bei der Anfahrt nicht die Küstenstraße von Los Barilles nehmen, sondern über die Berge fahren! Die Küstenstraße ist mit einem normalen Auto schwierig zu befahren. Leider hat das Personal kaum, bis gar nicht, Englisch geredet.
