The staff were friendly and helpfull.

Location, as it was away from everything.. if you didnt like what was on the menu at restraunt then you were getting crisps and a yoghurt at shop. Could be doing with a few more establishments around or kinda close by. My friend is vegan and only had two meal options which wasnt great for her. The meals i had were absolutely amazing, just wish there was more choice available.

The location is lovely and remote which is exactly what I wanted. The shepherds cabin was really peaceful and well sized. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly.

I would have appreciated a discount/complimentary entry to the spa upstairs given the outdoor pools are out of action, the £20 addition for residential guests given the price of the rooms feels a little cheeky especially given the spa itself is a little dated and limited to just one sauna one steam and one plunge hot tub that was only lukewarm. The view from the spa was nice but otherwise underwhelming and closed very early (6pm) so access was limited. Furthermore I was disappointed that dinner service ended at 7:30pm. There is no other option for food in the area as it is so remote and no shops nearby so when the weather ended up being too bad for my bbq plans I didn’t even have the option to go to the hotel for something to eat. The shepherds cabin didn’t have any cutlery or plates either so it wasn’t really equipped even for making a simple sandwich which seemed strange as it is set up like a self contained pod with kitchen area, rather than a hotel room.

Cabin was great, spa facilities were excellent not too busy. Marina restaurant was lovely and staff were great.

Toilet in cabin a bit cramped especially the shower.
