Portavadie Loch Fyne Scotland

Been waiting to go for years, we had a studio with a patio which was great for my wee dog, she was also welcomed everywhere even at breakfast and dinner, fantastic service from the restaurant staff, exceptional actually, great chats with everyone we met, girls in the spa were fantastic ( I rewarded them with creme eggs) going to do a sheperds hut next time around

Weather was terrible but hey ho it's Scotland FFS

Breakfast was delicious and I was offered a very wide range of options. Evening meal was good. The room was very comfortable and clean. The grounds at Portavadie are large and all of it was clean and tidy - not a single bit of litter! My wife had a massage which she said was excellent.

We only stayed one night. Entry to room was estimated at 1530 and a massage was booked for 1630 and dinner booked for 1830. This meant that a swim was not going to happen. Breakfast was between 0800 and 1000. We had to leave the room by 1100. Again, not much of a chance for a swim.

All was good

Breakfast wasn’t as good as other places.
