Bang Po Garden

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful garden setting in Bang Po village on Koh Samui. I only made a stop here because I was travelling from Koh Phanghan to Krabi and figured it might make sense to stay here for several days, but my expectations were not very high. I was pleasantly surprised in the end. The bungalow is very spacious and very clean - WiFi works great. Two sides have huge windows so you can enjoy the garden views, but also the curtains to pull over during the night. You can see the outside but the outside cannot see you due to smart design of the garden paths - I liked that a lot. There is a large fridge in the room - much appreciated. There is also a perfectly equipped kitchen outside on the patio, so you can actually peel the fruits etc without teasing the ants to come in. I loved it here and would certainly come again. There is plenty of parking and they also rent bycicles/bikes/cars, for those interested in exploring beyond Bang Po. There is a large 7/11 on the way to Bang Po beach, right on the main road turn, as well as a fruit stand, so you can easily get all the supplies you need for your stay here.

I read the details of the reviews, so everything fulfilled my expectations. Some people might be put off by the fact that the property is about a 10 min walk from the beach and the road is not well lit on the way back after dark. I was fine with this - away from the main road means away from the noise, plus everyone has a flashlight on their phone nowadays. You walk back through a village, so there are people out there, it is not deserted or anything. Walking back at night actually gave me a feeling that I live in an actual local village, not a tourist hotspot, so that was really cool.

EVERYTHINGGGGGG!!!! Tho it’s not next to the beach or the road i love everything about this place and will surely comeback!! it’s literally next to a big garden which is nice and the beach is walking distance. this is near the fisherman’s village but far from party areas which is fine because I don’t care about partying. love this place!

The bungalows are located in a beautiful green garden. There are lots of birds, butterflies. You can hear roosters in the morning. The owners are lovely. They showed me the trees in the garden and offered coconut water and mosquito coils several times. Quite area for a relaxing vacation or long-term stay. Daily cleaning was impeccable and always timely. This accommodation is perfect for long-term rent or for families with a car. The space is modern, well-maintained and conveniently designed.

The location is a little far from busy tourist areas or the main street. You need a bike or a car. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. There are essential shops and cafes but not much else on the main street. Walking back to the accommodation after dark may feel uncomfortable. There are stray-looking dogs on the territory that sometimes howl at night. I had to leave early but the hotel could not arrange a partial refund.
