The Pancor Jungle Resort

I felt like I had found a little corner of paradise. This is a small, family-run complex with just a few bungalows, surrounded by a beautifully kept garden full of lush plants, colorful flowers, and singing birds. The whole atmosphere is calm, natural and very inviting. The bungalow was clean, cozy and tastefully decorated. The shower had both hot and cold water, and everything was very comfortable. You’ll find all the essentials you need for a pleasant and peaceful stay. The location is great, only about 10 minutes by scooter to the west coast, or even less. Scooter rental is available directly at the property, which was super convenient. Breakfast was simple and tasty, with a choice between omelette and pancakes — I tried both and enjoyed them. Drinking water is available for purchase on site. In the evening, I walked to a nearby resort just three minutes away, where I had dinner at the restaurant, also very convenient. I stayed for two nights and would absolutely come back. Perfect for a short and quiet stay on Nusa Penida. Great value for money - it really felt like paradise.

Za tu cenu to bylo dobré. Snídaně byly dobré a umístění ubytování je dobré v rámci ostrova. Nábytek už je trochu opotřebený, ale nic hrozného. Klimatizace funguje. Nejhorší jsou zde komáři. Není zde moskitiéra a tedy žádná ochrana před komáry při spaní. To celý pobyt dost kazí. Doporučujeme ji dodělat nad postel.

L’équipe était adorable. La chambre spacieuse, lumineuse avec un très grand lit. La salle de bain était grande. Tres bon emplacement dans la « jungle ». Très verdoyant. Bon petit-déjeuner. Point négatif pour la Clim qui refroidissait bien mais qui coulait (bruit de la Clim qui goutte sur le sol toute la nuit) et nous nous sommes faits envahir par les moustiques.

Nos encantó la experiencia. La habitación super amplia y cómoda. Además el personal es super amable y el desayuno, aunque sencillo, es muy delicioso. Lo recomiendo!!

I love the location, and I'll explain why: the Pancor (pronounced "pan chore") is peaceful, away from the main drag with its tourist traffic / dive tours / restaurants / scooter hire and all the clamour that goes with that. But if you do want to chill for a bit in a deluxe touristy restaurant over a coffee or cocktail with the Instagram set, there is one next door, 100m up the hill, where the rooms cost about 100 times more. I went there a few times for dinner. Prices were the same as every other Western resto on the island. If you have a motorcycle or scooter, continuing up this road takes you on a nice relaxing ride over "Teletubbies Hill" to the scenic wonders of Manta Cliff. Unlike the potholed, busy roads from the fast boat port to the west, these roads are well-surfaced and quiet. The staff at Pancor are super polite and helpful. The cottages are private and secluded. The breakfast of pancakes, fresh fruit and Bali coffee works for me. While Pancor is not strictly a "resort", I prefer that: clean, simple, spacious rooms, quietly functional aircon and an outdoor setting with a lush view.

The packs of dogs roaming the roads at night were a bit of a hassle when on foot, but present no problem on a motorbike. All bark and no bite. So far. There were loads of mosquitoes, but heavy rain over the previous weeks meant they were everywhere around Bali. No fridge in the room but nor would I expect one for the price.

Beautiful bungalows, nice bathroom with bath tub, comfortable beds, excellent location, friendly stuff. The breakfast is simple: eggs, one toast, some fruit and bali coffee without milk. It will be served on the balcony of your bungalow. We were allowed to do a late check out for some extra money, which we appreciated very much.

Mucha paz, en el medio de la jungla con muy buenas vistas, rodeados de naturaleza realmente increíble! El bungalow cómodo, grande con una cama gigante, mucho espacio para estar cómodos, el baño también, con aire acondicionado que es fundamental para la zona. El personal muy amable, simpático y servicial, las chicas atentas a nuestras demandas, se puede lavar la ropa y alquilar moto ahí mismo! El desayuno muy rico! Nos sentimos muy a gusto aquí, recomendamos a los viajeros hospedarse está a 10 minutos del centro en moto.

Very nice value for money (paid 190k/night), helpful staff.

Hot water in shower ends quite fast, but you have several minutes to take a shower which is ok. Would suggest putting the curtain or changing the ransparent door in the bathroom :)
