D Family Resort

The staff went above and beyond to help us. They served food at our accommodation so our youngest one could sleep. Good pool, good bed, good food. Great for families.

What a wonderful room and the location. We really enjoyed our stay at the D family resort. Such a super staff service always. Delicious Breakfast beautiful premises with lots of fruit trees surrounding the room.

The best hotel I stayed on my vacation in Sri Lanka. Highly appreciate the friendly staff service, hot food, beautiful swimming pool, and sspecialty clean room with air conditioning and television. What a wonderful breakfast we had. There was a plenty of food on our table. Special thing is the swimming pool. That is the best thing to refresh after traveling the ancient city on these hot days. Clean pool. The room we had very clean and tidy. There are lots of fruit trees around the resort with birds aound. Such a wonderful stay we had in D Family Resort. Super service staff, delicious warm food, clean pool and room. Thank you D Family staff make us happy

The pool was nice but had limited sunbeds, which were very uncomfortable. The staff were friendly but could have done more to be proactive with advice and suggestions of the area

The accommodation was somewhat basic for the cost, in particular the shower was small and poor water pressure. The photos are outdated as they have partially added a top floor to the building which is unfinished and looks unsightly. The pool is ok but not many sun beds and very uncomfortable.

Staff was really nice and help us alot with planning our activities. Great value for the price. Location is okay if you don't mind going by tuktuk to the city.

Pool looks better on the pictures than in person, but it's still nice and refreshing

Excellent service and communication. The staff were prompt (not super common in Sri Lanka) with an early breakfast so we could get out before the heat. There’s an artists touch to the resort with custom murals on the walls of each cabana and lions sporting water into the pool. They also had cable TV which was appreciated by my daughter after 3 weeks with no TV anywhere.

Cabanas are really dark inside but there is a balcony both up and downstairs. The 5:30am wake up for prayer from the mosque’s somewhere in the distance was a surprise!
