Villa Maya

Loved our stay at Villa Maya. It was relaxing and peaceful, had a great pool to sit by. Was good that you could eat there and didnt have to leave if you didnt want to. We loved the view and being able to play golf was awesome. Its a good technical little course. Rose who works at the front desk was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She is an asset. The Filipino guy (can't remember his name unfortunately, maybe Deibe) who works there too is a really hard worker also, ran down in the rain to get our bags and hold an umbrella above us and kept the grounds immaculate. We will go back for another stay for sure.

Good location, great food, honestly the most normal and best beef burgar I've eaten in the philippine so far, a lot of middle eastern food for those who like the kitchen, the room we stayed was big and very accomdating while the staff was extremely helpful. The pool is large and deep for those who like swimming and the view outside the villa itself is amazing, overall I would highly recommend this place to stay in Siargao for those who are looking to relax, and even just to dine at their restaurants, as they have a reasonable price for every item on the menu.

Due to the rain the wi fi can sometime go bad, which is not the place fault but something that I would point as a fault would be the hot water, sometimes the water in the shower is cold to lukewarm but never hot, it didn't bother us as much but it's worth pointing out

The location was good, close to ocean 9, the view was nice and the staff was really kind and helpful.

The bathroom was pretty bad, it smelled a lot of mould, we had warm water for only a day and the others no hot water at all. The soap for the shower was not great as well. The pool was not that clean, the sofa seemed dirty and it was stained. Being in front of the pool made it really noisy, lot of costumers at the bar shouting and we couldn’t have a nap. Furthermore they never changed our towels or cleaned our room.

Beautiful property with nice views- overlooking golf course. Ideal, outdoor dining areas with retractable windows allow a welcomed breeze. So many unique birds to be seen on the property.

The resort’s hill-side perch results in plenty of stairs at the resort and steep roads approaching it.

Breakfast was included and was very good standard breakfast options. The pool was excellent and cooling on a hot day. Rooms were large, spacious and clean. We did encounter a broken fridge that could not be repaired/replaced during our stay, but that's a minor issue.

The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Just 2 of them that we interacted with and they were lovely everyday. Food was so good. Room was a very comfortable size. Very nice hotel. Pretty location. Can see a bit of the sunset before it goes down behind a hill.

Mattress and pillows were hard. Need more than just a sheet to sleep with. Nowhere to hang clothes. Shower had absolutely no pressure whatsoever. Room doesn't get cleaned unless you tell them to clean it and noone informed us to do so. If you're leaving early remember to inform them the night before so the chef can come in early to make breakfast. The dog.

Incredible staff, huge shout out to Erica, Rose and Dabe who made our stay so wonderful. Super peaceful location with great amenities including the infinity edge pool, air con with back up generator and golf course. Food was also delicious! Would highly recommend staying here!

A gorgeous 5 Room Villa tucked up off the main road , The place was so relaxing and Staff were amazing couldnt do enough for us ! Pool was perfect for a relaxing swim looking out to golf course and garden! Small restaurant with great breakfast and food for lunch or dinner was always delicious ! Would definitely return if we come back to Siargao
