Loved the property it felt like a tucked away gem, the rooms the architecture, the people.

We loved the property, the grounds and the swimming pool. This was a secluded luxurious property - if you like bird watching you will see so many different breeds all on your door step! We loved the hospitality, Bino was an amazing host sharing stories with us and always checking how we were. Huge shout out to Jyothis our amazing nature tour guide - we would highly recommend the walking tour she taught us so much about the surrounding nature and animals! We would also highly recommend the cycling to the river and suspension bridge for sunset and Danesh our bird guide for the early morning tour was so passionate and made the experience really special for us!

This a most peaceful comfortable place surrounded by nature, beautiful plants, trees, flowers, birds singing, lizards and next to a nature reserve. The guided walks with Jyothis, the naturalist, were a highlight. The food was delicious.

This was our first destination in Kerala and we wish we had been able to stay longer than the single night our schedule allowed. It’s a totally serene and private environment since it only has 5 rooms. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff and owner all lovely, and generous with their time. Would love to return one day.

A unique place. The wonderful walk through the garden to the river, a garden full of birds, the helpful staff. We walked to the suspension bridge nearby with local guide Danesh and that was magical too. Unforgettable.

It was a beautiful and peaceful location, full of birds and butterflies and that’s just along your walk from your room to have breakfast.

Lovely for a 2 night stay. Beautiful garden with verandah restaurant by the river. Large bedrooms and large bathrooms with air conditioning and fridges in room. BYO to enjoy a drink on the veranda outside your room. Large pool. Nice food. Management very reactive. A good place from which to visit the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary - only one visit a day at 7am, limited to 20 people divided into small groups with good guides.
