It was set back from the beach which made it quiet and peaceful

Our cottage was in severe need of some TLC- the outdoor bathroom flooded whenever we had a shower (hot water was a little tricky to come by- but that’s not unusual in India), the AC didn’t work properly in the room, there was a lingering smell of damp, the room was not very clean and was very worn and we didn’t always get the best support from the team working at Cinnamon. The breakfast was also small and lack-lustre. This would all have been fine if the cost of the rooms was significantly lower.

Staff lovely .location ideal . Clean room every day. Breakfast basic good. Really little gem 💎.

Had to ask for hot water to be turned on. Even when we did, no hot water came through the tap meaning we had quite a few cold showers. Fairly expensive for what you get. Room size small Only one chair inside

It’s a small magical resort from the moment you step through the pretty entry way. Beautiful and feels secluded despite being literally a 2 minute walk to the main road and beach with lots of wonderful restaurants. Sumit the host and Matika were so kind and welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable. A wonderful experience all round.

Cinnamon is an excellent budget-friendly hotel that offers fantastic amenities. Although it is not directly on the beach, it's just a two-minute walk away, making access easy and convenient. The pool is cleaned daily, and the lush trees and plants surrounding the area create a tranquil atmosphere that enhances the charm of the quaint huts serving as bedrooms, each featuring open-air showers at the back. The staff is exceptionally friendly, with Sumit standing out as the most welcoming and helpful person. His willingness to assist and engage in delightful conversations adds a personal touch to the experience. Additionally, the hotel cats are well-loved, especially a new kitten we nicknamed "Baby," whom Sumit cares for with great attention. Breakfast at Cinnamon is another highlight—simple yet fresh, with juices that are freshly squeezed, ensuring a delightful start to your day.

I really have to think about this, but some helpful feedback would be some areas could benefit from a bit of upgrading. For instance, a few tiles in the bathroom are slightly broken, and the wooden bathroom cabinet has experienced some rot. However, aside from these minor issues, I found it difficult to fault this place.

Beautiful, little gem of a place in heart of Agonda, set in quiet area. Cottages and pool clean. Staff very attentive to our needs. Fantastic on-site restaurant. if you are looking for something a little different to the norm, this is it!
