L’emplacement et la tranquillité, il n’est pas situé au centre ville. La piscine est magnifique, ainsi que le jardin.

The so-called hotel manager that wasnt really one was very unprofessional and would lie easily. Even being filmed. I got a bad 👎 food poisoning there - my phone almost stolen in a nearby place. Her and the owners reaction EXTREMELY unprofessional. This will be written about elsewhere.

Beautiful villa, we loved all the traditional artwork and landscaped gardens. It even had a fish pond inside! I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy it.

The staircase is old and rickety and looks like it needs some work. There are mosquitoes around and it is fairly open so you really need to use the mozzie nets over the bed. This area of Sanur is at the mangrove end but close to the kite flying place.

Ich hatte einen grandiosen Aufenthalt, eine Oase in Sanur, eine Suite/ Cottage mit allem Comfort, schmackhaftes Frühstück Punkt 7 Uhr, so dass ich es vor meiner gebuchten Tour genießen konnte, großartige Service Orientierung, alles wurde möglich gemacht! Eine entspannte Massage im Hotelbereich wurde auch kurzfristig organisiert. Ein tolles Team, ich hoffe, dass ich bald wieder diesen Komfort buchen kann. Ein herzliches Dankeschön!

Lovely staff, traditional style Balinese property with magnificent gardens and a clean relaxing pool with sun lounges. My immaculate cottage (10) had high ceilings extremely comfortable bed and excellent aircon. The cottage was up a few steps with a porch with outdoor table. Bathroom was spacious with separate bath and shower. Lovely choice of breakfast (banana pancakes!) served in restaurant or your room/porch. Great Balinese style coffee. 4 bottles water per day and chocolates with a printed story. Didn’t try lunch or dinner but I heard great reviews. Hired bikes (almost) opposite for $4/day. Really great value for a low key, low price accommodation including breakfast.

Bebek cottages was beautiful. The local stray dogs barking in the night were disruptive at times albeit not the fault of the property. It was quite a walk at night to the restaurants on the beach and I was a little nervous walking past the dogs on one occasion- perhaps they sensed my anxiety. I would still highly recommend this property.

This is old school Bali: The former home of a flamboyant garden designer named Made Wijaya (aka Mike White), it has beautiful greenery and many impish statues (including a monkey in sunglasses by the pool). Soft gamelan music is played in the restaurant. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.

It is true that there signs of aging on the tile floors and elsewhere. But if you loved coming to Bali in the 20th century, you will remember that most of Bali was like this and it is lovely.

Great breakfast, the banana pancakes are my favourite.

The only thing is that there are too many plastic water bottles ! Bali is drowning in plastic pollution. Larger refilling stations need to be available so that guests can refill their own water bottles.

A really beautiful garden setting and authentic Balinese cottages, a quiet peaceful location, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfasts, clean and very comfortable, a great pool and not far to walk to the beach.

Bebek cottages is an authentic Balinese accommodation that reminded me of the original Tandjung Sari further up the beach with its thatched roof cottages, balinese statues and lots of lush tropical flowers and greenery including Lotus flowers that bloomed while we were there. The cottages are simple but roomy with big bathrooms and icy cold A/C and a mini fridge. Some of the cottages (like mine #11) have a small road on two sides which does get a bit of traffic noise with local zooming up and down on motorbikes to get to work or the beach at all hours - try and get Cottage #2 or 10 . The pool is refreshing, the facial I had at the spa was great value and very good and the thoughtful touches like having your bed turned down at night and chocolates and a bedtime story left on your pillow was lovely. There is a bike rental opposite Bebek and I recommend hiring a bike for AU$4 a day and riding down to the beach and along the 5km bike path to explore all the Sanur beach cafes and shops.

Bebek cottages are tucked down a narrow cobblestone street about 500 m from the south end of Sanur beach. You have to walk past vacant lots with stray dogs, and construction sites then through a big car park to get to the start of the beach and the bike path. This is fine during the day but tricky at night as there is no lighting. The bonus of being at the South end of Sanur is you get the locals vibe and see the sunset colours and are close to Genius cafe - our fav and the Yoga hut for sunrise yoga!
