Ma'in Hot Springs

No gasoil station close, be sure to have enough gas

An oasis of tranquility where cascades of hot spring water pour from the cliff directly in basins acting as swimming pools. Beware! It could give you skin burns. The lush vegetation is strongly contrasting with the surroundings you go through in your way towards the spot. Don't miss to see the southern panoramic road towards the Dead Sea.

The food was great and the staff were very kind and helpful

The facility is lovely, but the room was a bit worn, although I hear renovations are coming in the Spring. As a westerner, it was a bit uncomfortable in the hot springs and pool as all the women were completely covered. I was not very prepared for this.

1- location is the best thing in there. 2- the hot water pool was working, and it's water temp was very proper in that cold weather. 3- the upgraded room they gave me is good with a nice view. better than other rooms that needs heavy renovation. 4- good polite staff, a little lazy though. 5- the unhealthy bread in breakfast was delicious. 6- water pressure at the shower.

1- The Main Public WATERFALL has been collapsed after the latest storm. 2- the other pool was out of service as usual. 3- the hot water pool WATERFALL is still so hot! improper! even in that cold weather, it's like that since the opening, sadly they couldn't find a mechanism until today to make it usable. 4- the breakfast has the worst quality of every ingredients they offer, some over cooked plates, some re-heated mixed stuff (remains of the dinner maybe). eggs will make you stay at bathroom even after you check out, an advice only eat the white of it, pan cake is like a super glue, maple syrup is the worse ...etc. 5- I told the receptionist that i want a very calm room, and in his turn he gave a a good room in the 5th floor away from this windy weather as he claims, but it was right front of a concert that stayed until 11:30 pm, and near a very noisy group of male friends who doesn't sleep at all . 6- no light at night from the parking to the hotel vv. 7- mold in the water kettle and no single bottle of water near it. 8- toilet were moving and can't fix the cover to stop falling . 9- no bathrobe which is a must in a place like that, luckily i had one in my bag. 10- Towels looks like a floor mops. when i saw it on the shower door handle i have put it down on the floor after a hot bath, then i realized that it's the towel that i have to use . in the end the hotel is very expensive for what they offer of facilities and food inside the hotel. which is why i prefer to pay 7-10jd for the public main waterfall instead (when or if it get fixed) and go back home or other dead sea hotel when I'm done of bathing.
