Residence Maison Müge

Rooms were pristine and immaculate. Mattress was super comfortable. The bathroom had all accessories and the water was always hot in the shower. The food was divine and the staff was exceptional. Also I was the only guest the place was safe and secure. The grounds were lush and the pool was clean.

Die sehr schön im afrikanischen Stil angelegte Anlage mit den Palmen, dem grünen Garten und dem tollen großen Pool! Das Personal hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt und ist sehr kompetent. Das Frühstück wie auch das Abendessen waren hervorragend und reichhaltig! Eine der besten Küchen in Kilifi. Der Strand ist zu Fuss gut und in Kürze zu erreichen!

Das Personal war freundlich, aber auch sehr zurückhaltend. Es hat ein wenig an Fröhlichkeit gefällt. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren viele Mücken aktiv. Zeitweise war es nur schwer erträglich. Das liegt aber nicht in der Verantwortung des Gastgebers bzw. des Personals. Im Gegenteil, unser Haus war sehr gut geschützt. Es ist wohl eher der Jahreszeit geschuldet.

Die Residence Maison Müge ist eine absolute Topadresse. Absolut ruhige Lage, traumhafter Garten mit grossem Pool. Wunderschöne Anlage und Zimmer. Der Service ist hervorragend, das Personal und die Schweizer Eigentümer sind so nett und zuvorkommend. Alles topsauber und gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant Le Bijou ist lecker und bekömmlich. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und handmade. Der Strand ist fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

die Zimmer bis ins Detail perfekt von der Sauberkeit bis zum Decor. Der bezaubernde Garten, das freundliche Personal. Die köstlichen Gerichte, die immer wieder überraschten. Die Herzlichen Gastgeber.

Karisa, Beatrice, Naima and the rest were really lovely hosts! The pool is great, the whole place green and in bloom… and the food was very good and generous.

We were in off season so it was a bit too quiet, that all. Price wise it is a bit in the expensive side but you do get a very well maintained joint, very quiet and clean.

The gardens are beautiful and well maintained with a lovely pool. The best thing about the place is Karisa who took care of us so well. The breakfast is phenomenal too.

We had room issues as we had booked the zebra room as we wanted 2 rooms but it isn’t 2 rooms but they were so good at coming up with an alternative arrangement which worked for us well. You need to get a Tuk Tuk or taxi to get anywhere.

Maison Muge is utterly heavenly. From the photos we looked at before our stay, it was obvious the gardens around the wonderful pool were beautiful. In real life they are even more fabulous as you only truly appreciate their depth, scale and how immaculately maintained everything is when you are there. My wife and I stayed in Villa Elephant for a week over Christmas. Once again, photos do not do justice to just how high quality, clean and artfully decorated this (and the other accommodations) around the property are. We enjoyed fabulous breakfasts around the pool every morning and superb food and wine (and cocktails !) in the evening. All the lovely team at Maison Muge - the staff and the management - did everything they could / everything we needed to make our time just unforgettable. It was a superb, utterly relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable week of our lives and we (clearly !) cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful experience we had.
