Sigiri Forest View

Quiet place with basic amenities to make for a good stay in the forest. Absolutely cut off from network (with poor wifi connectivity), which was peaceful and helped me connect with people around, but made planning for the trip slightly difficult.

The weather was hot which made the room heat up and resulted in discomfort, despite a fan in the room.

Very nice family. Very helpful and caring. The room was big and with air conditioning for the first night, which was awesome, only issue is we found a frog on the shower and red ants on the WC several times, having to manually remove them for they would bite you if you sat. They then changed us to a tree house which was really cute and with a beautiful bathroom, only it didn’t have air conditioning. But breakfast was good and they even cooked dinner for us. It was cheap and very good!

Absolutely recommended. Lovely hosts and a charming house set high up, just a 10-minute walk from Pidurangala Rock.

I liked everything!

This was a wonderful home stay with Gerry and his family. They were all so lovely and accomodating. A welcome drink upon arrival was a very nice touch. I got food poisoning on our last night (from a different location) and they allowed us to stay in the room on checkout day free of charge until I felt better. Gerry also offered to drive us to the local doctor. The location is also very close by (within walking distance) to Pidurangala Rock and local scenic lakes. Lion's Rock is also just a short tuktuk drive away. Would highly recommend staying here for an authentic Sri Lankan experience and brilliant hospitality.

The A/C in the room was good but unfortunately didn't cover the whole room. But only a small thing and we were able to make it work anyway by moving the bed closer to the fan.

We had nice tree house cabins with all what you need. Very friendly staff.

Jerry was really kind, thank you for evrything. I recomend this as a nice expirience to spend a night in a tree house right next to Sigiria and Pidurungala, also you can take light lamp and try to find some animals in the night just near the accomodation.

Excellent service by Jerry. He dropped me at the spot by his car. Arranged food according to us. Highly recommend this property.
