The tree house was upsolutly amazing, And the owner and his wife, are so welcoming and wonderful. Definitely my number one recommendation in Sri Lanka

This is the perfect place to stay for a simple, budget friendly but private option supporting a local family. Lovely, relaxed location out of the main town but close to Pidurangala rock. Room was clean and had a fan which was nice. The owner is the most wonderful, warm person always catering for your needs. She gave me free cake and offered water every time I went out. Delicious breakfast too.

Nice treehouse in beautiful setting. Meals ordered by WhatsApp and delivered to room. Quiet except for early morning jeeps. Cheap.

Problems with food - I couldn't eat their included cold breakfasts so had to pay for omelets. Limited menu with some items unavailable. Prawns with fried rice unexpectedly had what I think was chicken or pork in it as well. I was billed incorrectly. They charged me for a dish I ordered that was not available instead of the cheaper dish I had. They also charged me for items I did not order (fruit and bottled water) which they brought to my room and said were free or included with meal. I left a day early as I couldn't eat any more of their food. Safari problems booked thru hotel - I was told to pay the full price for safari at the hotel at checkout. Then jeep driver wanted full price at park entrance. I did not have much money or my ATM card with me. Fortunately driver had some money so I was able to do the safari. Then I wanted staff to observe me paying balance back at hotel but they were not available by WhatsApp. Finally I paid driver telling him I wanted a photo as proof but he took off before photo. Then hotel staff next day I said I owed 1000 for the safari. I don't know who was bad at math or lying, but eventually I got staff to understand I had paid the full amount.

Very friendly and welcoming family. The tree huts are big and comfortable.

The place wasn't as quiet as I hoped. In the evening you hear the music from a nearby restaurant and the traffic from the road.

The host family was perfect; they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was great, and breakfast was good.

We loved our stay at the Sigiri Forest View - wonderful and helpful owners- serving great and plentiful breakfast! Booked our safari trip and sunrise trip with them- great experiences!

Amazing stay at the Sigiri Forest view. The family hosting us is really kind and helpful. The cabane in the forest is comfortable and clean, you can sleep with the sound of the jungle it’s amazing. Would recommend this place 100% it was great.
