Boo Kirinda Holiday Resort

Second time I stay here as I haven’t found something similar in Badulla. Calm place a bit out of the centre. Anyway, they have their tuktuk that gets you in the city and comes to pick you up when you call them - at a fixed price. Kitchen is OK, haven’t tried a lot though. The place is generally well maintained, clean, and the staff is pleasant.

The location is excellent. We booked a family room very clesn. You can hear sound of water flowing in the river next to your room. Beautifful location. Oly a small car or tuk tuk can reach this location. Staff are excellent. Internet access is limited on phone data even the wifi is not very good.staff are ecellent and helpful.

Fantastic views and garden. Good spacious room and bathroom. Fantastic staff. Owner a good communicator( she is not at the premises). The best breakfast in Sri Lanka. A very calm, scenic, beautiful place.

The property is approx 1 km off main road and it is a very steep rough road. ( but beautiful). A bit of a challenge if on foot!!!! But you can book a tuk tuk from propert to main rd and visa versa for 300 Rps. Room not 100% soundproof so you get the noise of the river/ waterfall all night, which sounds like a fan continually running in the bedroom.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options. I also loved the beautiful view from my room—it made the stay even more enjoyable.

However, the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. I noticed some areas that were not well-maintained. Other than that, it was a good experience overall.

Beautiful location. So peaceful, listening to the river, birds & insects (oh & the occasional train!) Very relaxing place to stay. 5-10 min walk up a steep drive to 2 decent cafes. 20 mins walk to town. Hansi the host was extremely communicative & attentive. Nothing was too much trouble: local information, trips, organising tuk tuk etc. amazing host. We really enjoyed our stay. All the rooms would have a beautiful view as the location is stunning.

It was very cheap. The room wasn't finished, but they let us use it as the rest of the family were staying there. The staff were very nice. It's a difficult place to get to but the staff are very organised and helpful.

The food was sometimes cold. They did reheat it on request.

Lovely peaceful setting. Comfortable room. Great communication. Good value.

A bit out of the way, but this is also what made it lovely!

Good value, paid a really low price and you get an amazing setting. beautiful location away from the direct hustle of the area, good service from the team there, always ready to help and accommodate our needs.

Tuk tuk from top of road to accommodation as inaccessible for the mini bus which is okay but the ride is a little intimidating in the dark when we arrived, it was also raining at the time which made the route a little trickier - This was our fault for arriving late, less intimidating when in daylight 😊 Food was brought up to the eating area, which can have an impact on some food keeping the temperature.

breakfast was amazing with great views, the staff were very attentive! special shout out to hansi for her prompt replies & going above and beyond to help us with all our needs!

not that we didnt like this, but a little warning that a tuktuk is required to get to the hotel & its an extremely rocky and steep ride!
