When you turned on the light and exhaust fan in the bathroom, you were assaulted with the smell of sewage. It appeared that the bathroom floor drain is connected to the sewage pipes. Ended up not using the light and exhaust fan because of the smell. There was also a large cockaroach near the bin in the bathroom. Considering the resort is in Toledo and a distance from the city centre, I believe it was overpriced.

Beautiful location right next to the beach, food was very good and staff are lovely. There is a surcharge if you pay by credit card but they do give you a choice if you would like to pay cash to avoid paying extra.

Room 1 was convenient right across from where our kids were in but we had to endure the plumbing odour from the bathroom. There are no pool towels but we use the room towels for this. When asking for fresh towels they won’t hesitate to give you but they are a little damp. Food, drinks and room prices were same price as the city hotel we were in.

Staff was very helpful. I hosted a lunch for a couple of friends and their kids (including twin boys age 4). The more shallow pool was perfect for the boys and the lunch was great - we ordered from the menu and everything was perfect.

Lighting in the room is a bit dim. I usually like to take a walk in the morning, but didn’t feel safe enough to do so as all of the properties are built our right up to the roads without a set-back to a sidewalk. Also a lot of roaming / barking dogs… Although the property has direct access to the beach, it’s not really functional as the sand has all been washed away leaving a very rocky / gravely surface.
