Dolphin House Resort Moalboal

Everything was wonderful. The room was big, bed was super comfortable food was incredible, view was gorgeous, and pool was relaxing.

The family suite was nice, just needed a second air con unit for a bi-level rooms. Most of the staff were great except one who was their supervisor.

They have a hidden “day use” policy that is not shown to guests and not publicized on their website. This policy was sprung on me by staff member Adzmira in a rude manner telling me I need pay for day use when had 3 kids dip in the pool for 10 min. When paid I had to demand a receipt due to none offered. Like she was just taking my money. Eventually was given a receipt the day after but again only after demanding one.

В конце отдыха начислили дополнительную плату за завтраки, которые были включены в проживание. Мы заказывали по меню по несколько блюд (омлет, блинчики, кофе например). Оказалось в конце, что только одно можно🙄🙄🙄

Restaurant too expensive

Very nice and quiet hotel with kind and friendly staff. The beach is beautiful, especially at high tide. Comfortable beach beds and access to beach towels and drinking water. The room was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. We liked the location - peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to Moalboal. The overall setting and atmosphere were lovely, with pleasant ambient music in the restaurant. The overall atmosphere was lovely.

The mattress on the single bed in our room was of poor quality and caused back pain, so this is something that should be improved. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and did not have any complaints. The resort is nice and they try to create ambient atmosphere, but it can't make up for the rooms which could use some work. In our view, the current room price is difficult to justify. For a similar price, there are many resorts in Philippines offering a noticeably higher standard and better facilities, mattress, rooms, bathrooms... . There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, but there was also nothing exceptional that would justify the price. It is a pleasant place to stay, but we felt it was significantly overpriced for what it offers.

The pool is nice

The resort's maintenance and overall upkeep were below the standard I expected. The rooms were relatively small and cleanliness could be improved. Food and beverage prices within the resort were noticeably high. Guests should also be aware that payments made by credit card are subject to an additional 3% surcharge. During my stay, I requested to reduce my reservation by one night. The request was declined, and I was informed that the booking could not be modified because the property had experienced a decrease in reservations related to the conflict in the Middle East. Prospective guests may wish to consider these factors when making a reservation.

Very nice and quiet hotel, staff were so kind and friendly and very accomodating. Snorkel equipment free to use and good quality. Breakfast was delicious. Nice and clean room, lots of space for bags and fresh water. Great pressure in shower. Cleaned daily. Was quite a bit out of moalboal town but super easy to get tuk tuk into town, and was right off the beach for snorkelling!

Mattress very hard and bathroom was a little bit smelly on first day.

Beautiful gardens direct access to the sea alrhough shore rocky and a lotbof coral you have to avoid. Within walking dstance 5mins along the coast to a local beach called White Beach very nice. Very welcoming

Food was expensive. Quite a ling tuk tuk ride into town but not expensive

The entire resort was beautiful, especially the pool. The food was great and staff were amazing.

The room was a bit awkward. The restroom door didn't completely open. The rooms truly needs to be updated. Once this changes, the resort would be perfect. 1 million out of 10.
