Notre dernier stop au philippines et pas des moindres. Un petit établissement de 6 chambres. Un service et un respect du personnel incomparable. Nous avons adoré séjourner ici. L’hotel a une vue imprenable sur le sunset et un bar et une cuisine fabuleuse. Mention spéciale pour notre check out qui était très tot mais qu’ils ont assuré en nous prévoyant un van gratuit en plus d’un petit déjeuner à emporter. Une belle surprise et un service que l’on est pas prêtes d’oublier ! Merci!

El Nido is beautiful, and the resort's location does it justice. The photos are stunning, the rates reflect that, and the first impression delivers on the promise.

The room itself had issues that are hard to overlook at this price range: soundproofing is essentially non-existent, the door has visible cracks letting mosquitoes in freely, there is no mosquito net over the bed, Wi-Fi was completely non-functional throughout the stay, and the room had a persistent ant problem. Order room service or open a snack and within minutes you have company. The staff in the restaurant spent their time huddled by the kitchen gossiping among themselves, making you feel like an interruption rather than a guest arriving for breakfast. For what this resort charges per night, these are not minor oversights — they are a fundamental gap between what's being sold and what's being delivered. The bigger issue was this: personal clothing items went missing from our room after housekeeping. We raised it before checkout. The response from management was a dismissive "this has never happened before" — which is not an explanation, it's a deflection. No accountability, no attempt to make it right. My partner followed up in writing. He received a courteous reply promising an internal investigation. That was the last he ever heard from them. Two weeks, no update, no resolution. What stays with me isn't any single issue — it's the indifference. A good property doesn't need to be perfect; it needs to show it cares when something goes wrong. Frangipani El Nido showed me clearly that once you've checked out, you're no longer their concern. The price says luxury. The reality doesn't come close. There are other resorts in El Nido — I'd put your money there instead.

Staff very friendly, good location to go to El Nido town and Vanila beach, amazing views from the room, bar and restaurant, complimentary airport transfers, discount for boat trips with yachting club

Chairs at the restaurant were too low and were missing cushions to sit comfortably, room cleaning could be improved

Odore sgradevole che proveniva dal bagno e aria condizionata che funzionava veramente poco, ho chiesto più volte quando rifacevano la camera di tenere l aria condizionata accesa per avere una temperatura decente in camera ma ogni volta la spegnevano e ho chiesto di sistemare l odore sgradevole che arrivava dal bagno ma non è stato fatto

That said, I would like to reflect our overall experience with Frangipani. Mr. Ferrante and Ms. Blando are dissatisfied with their stay, as the level of efficiency and hospitality fell below expectations. While I understand the importance of payment, it was not appropriate to contact the client late at night regarding this matter, especially when I had been trying numerous times before the stay to reach your team to confirm the tour and the airport transfer arrangements. Unfortunately, the hotel still made an error with the airport drop-off time. Taken together, these issues have left the impression that the hotel is unreliable in terms of guest service and hospitality, while being quick to pursue payment from its guests only.

I really loved the view from the apartment. The large windows and floor-to-ceiling glass, along with the spacious terrace, make it a place where you can truly enjoy the view — especially at sunset

The beach is unfortunately not very pleasant. During low tide seaweed appears, so swimming is not really possible. Although the hotel has direct beach access, the beach itself is not very usable. The sunset and views are beautiful, but the beach experience is limited. For some reason, the air conditioning was often turned off during housekeeping or while we were out, so the room would get very hot by the time we returned. It made the stay a bit uncomfortable at times. The staff were generally decent.
