The guy who fetched us from the ferry dock was friendly

I had to call the resort 3 times before we were finally picked up from the ferry dock to the hotel- the lady who answered the calls was rude. All the other hotels were waiting at arrivals for their guests, except Bayview. although I did not have wifi(which I have informed the property earlier), they refused to sent their man to pick us up until we have cleared immigration & had to wait for another 30 minutes. The room was dirty & they just gave a piece of cloth as duvet & we were freezing at night with the aircond on as the thin piece of cloth was of no use. There’s no tv. The curtains don’t cover the windows fully - one was easily be watched in the bathroom. We left 1st thing in the morning as we couldn’t stand the hotel!

This resort is beautiful and it hides you from the scooters, bikes and the overcrowded walking street. If not for food we would not go out of the resort, it is so green and enjoyable. Our apartment was very pleasant, the aircon worked well, the bathroom was nice, the beds comfortable and we had a beautiful wooden balcony with a sunset view. The stuff is super helpful, you can fill the bottles with drinking water for free. Sunset beach is just below the resort, the beach is not crowded and a bit hidden from the rest of the island. The location of breakfast is breathtaking, next to the beach with a spectacular view, you have five options of breakfast to choose from, it is a simple breakfast but there is no better option anywhere nearby.

Tranquillity of the place and Sea-front rooms. I had repositioned their sofa in front of the bed so that I could see the sea and yet enjoy the comfort of the room when it is too hot to sit on the balcony

Reception staff was helpful, 20min walk to main shop street and Pataya Beach, 2min to Sunset Beach, free taxi at check out, cute cats

Not clean, smelly, charlies, not really a view of a garden, dark room

Cute bungalows in garden setting.Loved the water filling stations,comfortable bed,beach towels and the restaurant on the beach.Lovely staff.

The bungalow was rather dark inside.The curtains hang far away from the window and let in a lot of light in the morning.

Wonderful sea view from bed and bathroom, really cozy and comfy. The beach was just few steps down the bungalow, the staff, lovely!

Great, quiet location. Perfect for the beach and the town. Lipe is tiny so walking or motorcycle taxi is easy. Great beach bar and good breakfast. Owners very helpful. Recommended

The taxi service by uncle and Cheese is superb. Too fast until we dont need to bother walking up the hill.Per trip only cost thb50. Nice spot for lite snorkel area just on the beach side. Dont expect much on cleanliness when u stay at wooden chalet by the sea. Regardless every day they do housekeeping and i have a good sleep during the stay.

Just bring over mosquito coil to ensure you have nice sleep without needing to use the net.

The views from the cabin were lovely. Good size balcony overlooking the sea. The bed was comfortable and a mosquito net was provided. Nice shower, but only lukewarm, which didn’t matter that much. Room cleaned daily, sheets changed after 2 nights. Restaurant, cleaning and odd job staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast choice. The beach is lovely and very quiet in the morning. It gets busier towards lunch and then as sunset time comes, but quiet again at the end of the day. The bar is closed by 9 pm. Can hire kayaks and plenty of deckchairs provided. Easy to walk to other areas, but a cut price bike taxi from the hotel is available ( sorry, forgotten the drivers names, both lovely)

When we first arrived we were out in a small cabin right by the restaurant. I most definitely did NOT want that and had booked and paid for a “Queen suite”. When I complained the manager was dismissive and rude, said that all rooms were the same, she might be able to move us the next night, and said if I didn’t like it I could book elsewhere. Thankfully we were moved the next day to the much larger and quieter cabin that we had booked, and we were happy with the room. The steps to and from the beach are very steep. Our mosquito net was very old and holes had been tied into knots in very many places.
