We recently ( April 2026) stayed La Estoria resort, the Taj property , at north Goa. Their restaurant ‘TRATTORIA’ and the restaurant staff truly elevated our entire trip with their outstanding hospitality. From the moment we walked in for dinner, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness that made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff specially Mr Hemant , Mr Awan and Mr Andrew during dinner anticipated our needs, offered helpful menu recommendations, and ensured everything arrived perfectly timed. What stood out most was how welcoming and caring everyone was; they went out of their way to make small conversations, accommodated our requests promptly, and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere even during busier evenings. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the positive energy from the staff made every meal a highlight of our stay. A big thank you to the entire restaurant team for their professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. It’s rare to experience service this warm and sincere.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Estoria, IHCL SeleQtions, Goa. Traveling with a 3-month-old baby can be challenging, but the entire experience here was smooth, comfortable, and truly relaxing. The staff was incredibly supportive and made sure we felt at ease throughout our stay. We also celebrated our anniversary with a beautiful candlelight dinner, which was arranged perfectly and made the evening very special for us. A special thanks to Hemant for his kindness and hospitality—he was extremely polite, attentive, and made our experience even more memorable. Overall, a perfect place for a peaceful getaway with family. Highly recommended! 🤍✨

Very Goan vibes. Great staff good food and overall a very good stay.

This had to be, one of my best stays ever and this was made possible only because of the staffs you have. I have never seen such friendly, helpful and humble staffs. From the security guard at the entrance gate to your people at the buffet, everyone was amazing. They greeted us smile, were so humble and were always ready to help us and they indeed helped us a lot. A big thanks to Pranali for a very smooth and early check in. She did help us all the way from the reception to our room which quite frankly I have never experienced. Hotels do have staffs who take your luggage and show your room, but never has a person from reception did that before. A big thanks and appreciation for her work. She did help us again quite a few times during our stay, like keeping our parcel and all. Not only her all the staffs were amazing, but she stood out for us. Rest of all the amenities were amazing again. A big clean pool, nice spacious and clean rooms, location was also decent, foods and drinks were good. You can rent bikes, scooty, cars just outside the entrance of the hotel. The hotel is just around 200 metres from the main road of fort aguada. Candolim beach is around 5 mins walk from the hotel. Alot of eateries and bars are available nearby which do serve good food and drinks. Rooms are spacious, equipped with all the modern amenities. All of their rooms are attached with balconies which have pool/garden views. And their balconies are also spacious enough. Food was also good and wide variety of options were available at the breakfast. Drinks are also good and at an decent price. Overall atmosphere of the hotel was very peaceful. You can just relax at the pool or enjoy the views from your balcony. They have a decent size pool with a bar nearby. Talking about price, I will certainly say it is value for money. Yes, you do have other options at this price point but I doubt they will have the same staffs, same ambience and same services. Everything was great but their staffs did stand out and made our stay a memorable one. Great work. Will definitely stay over here again and will surely recommend this hotel to one and all.

A beautiful boutique property in North Goa, La Estoria is easily accessible for people who love to explore Goa. The hotel has a lovely lobby with some experiences curated for guests - like the postcard experience bringing back the art of writing letters. The bookshelf has some of the best books, where one can take a book in exchange to one. The rooms are cozy, well-lit and face the pool. I loved the cuisine, especially the Goan veg platter made by the chef.

It was an extremely pleasant stay until the morning of our departure when the fire alarm was activated. Some serious issues were observed. There was no responsible person overseeing the situation and the staff went about their work totally complacent. Without blaming anyone, the management needs to review this very seriously, implement a plan, not only on paper, train their staff and carry out drills for the safety of all concerned. It was extremely disappointing to see this from a chain that has such a good reputation and maintains such high standards. Unfortunately, safety and hospitality must be symbiotic.
