We had a wonderful stay at La Istoria. The overall experience was smooth, comfortable, and well-managed. The staff was very supportive and ensured everything was taken care of efficiently. A special thanks to Sanjay for his exceptional assistance and hospitality. His support truly made a difference in our stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

The location of the hotel is in a lot of greenery around which I liked a lot. Room service was excellent, quick and spot on thanks to Rafiq from Housekeeping.

Had a great experience overall. Ayanal was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay, from escorting us to the room to making us feel comfortable. He also upgraded our room as it was our first anniversary and arranged a lovely decoration. Truly appreciate the effort. Thank you.

We had a lovely weekend stay at La Estoria by Taj in Candolim during our summer vacation with friends, and the experience was truly delightful. The hospitality was exceptional - the staff was extremely polite, attentive, and always ready to help with any queries we had. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay very comfortable. The property itself is beautifully designed with a very aesthetic and relaxing vibe, and the location is also great for exploring Candolim and nearby areas. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay for us. The only minor issue we faced was that since the property was previously managed by Country Inn by Radisson, the updated location tag for La Estoria by Taj is not yet reflecting properly on Instagram. Apart from that small inconvenience, everything about our stay was wonderful and we would recommend it for a getaway in Goa.

I was on a vacation to Goa and had specifically chosen to redeem my Taj gift voucher at your property, expecting a comfortable and premium experience. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing from the outset. During check-in, I was allotted a room that was poorly maintained, with mosquitoes present and overall substandard upkeep. Basic amenities such as toiletries and towels were insufficient, and I had to repeatedly contact housekeeping to resolve multiple issues. This level of service is not in line with what one expects from a property under IHCL SeleQtions. Prior to booking, I had clearly confirmed with your team that kids’ meals would be complimentary. However, during the stay, when I ordered food for my son—who was unwell at the time and whose condition was known to your staff—I was incorrectly informed that the meal would be chargeable. It was only after I insisted and reminded the staff of the prior confirmation that the charge was waived. Such inconsistencies reflect poor communication and guest handling. Further, we requested medical assistance for my son. While a doctor was arranged, there was absolutely no prior communication regarding the consultation charges. Despite my follow-up with the reception, no clear information was provided. I was later charged ₹2500, which was unexpected and unjustified, especially given that the doctor was already visiting the hotel. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Although a room change was eventually provided, the alternate room also did not meet expected standards, thereby continuing the unsatisfactory experience. Additionally, I find it highly unprofessional that I was not issued a receipt at the time of checkout after making the final payment. This is a basic service expectation and raises concerns regarding process and accountability. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing, and I feel that my money has been completely wasted at this property. This is particularly disheartening as I have had consistently positive experiences at other hospitality brands such as Le Méridien and Novotel in Goa. Given the strong reputation of Taj properties, this experience has been both surprising and unacceptable, especially as it was my first interaction with your brand.

the primary experience or the support from the reception staff by the name Ayanal was really helpful and very quick. Overall really good experience with property and their staff. Restaurant staff by the name of Sanjay and two other lady staff they all three were amazing with my kids and over all the comfort which they provided us in their services and support to my family was commendable. Thank you three hope you for all your support

Location is feasible and accessible to Candolim breach, ambience and great hospitality oriented staff. Mr. Sanjoy even arranged a cooking session for my little daughter. Thank you team La Estoria.

Our time here was extra special as I was travelling with my son, Aarav and the team made sure it became a celebration we’ll always cherish. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff stood out. A heartfelt thank you to Ayanal, who went above and beyond to make Aarav feel special, even surprising him with a cake to celebrate finishing his boards, such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to both of us. The poolside experience was relaxing and well-managed, and the restaurant team ensured every meal was comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention to Sanjoy at the restaurant for his attentive service and care, and to Aditya at the concierge for always being helpful and responsive. It’s the people who make a place truly special, and the team at La Estoria does exactly that. Looking forward to coming back! 💙
