The hosts were absolutely amazing. They are very friendly and want to help you out the best they can. Also a bonus, their cooking is wonderful. Also the Sri Lankan breakfast is really good. And it’s only a 10 minute walk to the rock cave temple .

Our room did not have cross ventilation so we had to use AC which was ok.

Absolutely recommend this place. The hosts were incredibly helpful with transportation and trips. They brought us to the bus station for free gave us some water for our travels. They prepared a wholesome breakfast and dinner and really made sure we feel as comfortable as possible. Super lovely people. Would always choose them. Room was clean and A/C available. Great location in Dambulla. Not very far from the center but tucked away from the hustling city, very quiet place with a real nature feel and a walking distance from Dambulla caves. Nice views from a viewpoint just off the house. Many birds, monkeys and squirrels around the garden. The hosts are so lovely and attentive! I'm a solo traveller that didn't have a very defined plan and they helped me to decide what to visit in the surroundings. The host took me on the tuktuk to the bus stop and I independently visited Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa on day trips. They can organise the tours on the tuktuk as well. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, much more than I could eat and varied everyday, a week in Sri Lanka and hands off the best food I had so far. The room was very spacious with clean bedsheets and towel and a kettle with tea/coffee.

It was my best stay in Srilanka till date in terms of value for money and hospitality. I arrived around noon and followed the route suggested by Google maps from Kandy road to the property. The route went adjacent to a serene lake, a small ground and some giant rocks. The hospitality was beyond superior. Room was large with clean linen, adequate toilettaries and a kettle. It's located at less than a kilometer from the amazing Cave temples, so one can just walk by. Dinner was the best I had till date in Srilanka. Also, they prepared breakfast quite early since I had to leave early. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very kind. They also managed to drop me off at bus station in morning. Overall, it was everything that one could ask for.

The room is really big, the bed comfy and the bathroom facilities great. The garden and property are peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very generous too. We also had dinner on our last night and it was easily one of the best Sri Lankan rice and curries we've had (and we've been eating R&C for the last 6 weeks all over Sri Lanka). But, what really made this our favourite place, in all of Sri Lanka, was the family. They are so warm and welcoming, it's hard not to feel anything but happy around them. They are helpful, respectful, kind and fun. We spent our last night chatting and playing chess and drawing with them and the boys. 3 great little guys. If in Dambulla you want to stay in a lovely spot with a beautiful family. This is the place.

Everything was perfect! They are good people. They helped us with everything we needed. The cooked food is very good! The house is close to Dambulla Cave Temple and the center. Thanks for everything!

The location was great for visiting the cave temple and other sights. The food they served was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka.
