Baan KanTiang See Villas - SHA Extra Plus

Absolutely incredible location high in the hills above KanTiang bay. Incredibly peaceful with amazing views. Gorgeous, but the steep hill up to the villas might cause issues for some (the hill is too steep for tuktuks, so you need to find taxis)

We had to ask a few times about the advertised taxi service which felt slightly awkward. Having said this, the usual housekeeper was away due to a family emergency so this may well not be how it is usually run.

Very nice facility, nice view, friendly staff, really nothing to complain about. Would be happy to come back.

The road leading up to the villas was in very bad condition, should have been repaired long ago, probably not the responsibility of the owners though. Quite a lot of litter around the area/beaches, the hotel owners on the island really should get together and organise some cleaners, somewhat disturbing in the otherwise stunningly beautiful environment

Awesome balcony overlooking pool and ocean with a full kitchen and great living room and smart TV with Amazon Netflix etc. awesome relaxing place

The villa was beautiful but a little run down.

Did not like the extremely steep paths and roads. Plus the TV only worked provided you already subscribed to a service at home. No phone facilities within the property. No credit card facilities. You have to pay in cash and we were only told about this the day before we left.

This place was fantastic. The views and location were incredible and the swimming pool was amazing. You do have to walk up and down a steep hill to get down to the beach/bars and restaurants but it was perfect for us and our 3 teenage children and if you need to get a taxi then there are plenty at Kantiang beach or they can be arranged by Thoy. The manager Thoy was an exceptional host. She provided us with ice cold flannels and a cold drink upon our arrival from Koh Yao Noi which was a nice touch. She organised taxi's when we needed them, takeaway food if we wanted to hang out at the villa and even arranged for restaurants to collect us from our accommodation and take us to a restaurant of our choice. 'Tuesday Morning' was a particularly good location although its worth the walk as you see loads of monkeys. Nothing was too difficult for Thoy to arrange and she was very attentive to our needs and i have to say is the best host i have encountered. Kantiang Beach was a perfect location for New Years Eve and we loved exploring all the restaurants and bars but we kept coming back to our villa (Number 8 - Green) and that view - a great spot for the midnight fireworks. Absolutely in love and we will definitely be back. Thank you Thoy for a fantastic stay
