The best hotel we stayed in in Sri Lanka. Fantastic staff, high-quality food, and lovely villa with panoramic view.

The hotel was wonderful - the staff, the rooms, the food, the views and the peacocks! Wish we’d ended our trip at Malabar as not sure anything else will be able to compare!

Beautiful hotel, probably the most beautiful and impressive we have ever been! Beautiful and very clean rooms, we also loved the swimming pools. The food was also delicious and we also enjoyed the activities, particularly the morning bike ride with a very lovely guide! We also enjoyed their beach club, it is very convenient with the tuk tuk that brings you there, there is a shower and we felt very safe as we could leave there our stuff while we went for a walk. We would definitely go back and longer if we go back to Sri Lanla

Beautiful property, amazing view and excellent staff

Location was not very convenient if you would like to avail Pick me Uber etc, takes a long time for ride acceptance.

Beautiful property up in the hills, surrounded by incredible wildlife and jungle. The views are stunning. The staff are the greatest. Every staff member is very attentive and genuinely kind, thoughtful, friendly, and interesting to talk to. The food was 10/10 every morning and night. We were made to feel very special. They nailed the dietary requirements (vegan) for my partner without any questions. I’ve stayed in many great properties but this tops them all. Special mentions to Janaka and my man Mendis for the exceptional service.

There is nothing not to like. It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had form a staffing experience. Every iota of details is looked after from the moment you arrive. Not a single stone is left unturned. Every member is courteous friendly and keen to help make sure your stay is spectacular from free yoga to a daily cocktail it’s the little things that matter through to coming over and helping arrange things to do for us in the morning. The rooms are stunning overlooking rice paddies with a phenomenal sunset glistening off the water. The large rooms with fans and aircon make for a really nice experience for those that don’t always want cold air blasted overnight. Sitting with your feet in the plunge pool in the morning watching the birds go by with a coffee is quite special. Food. Where to begin. So so so good. You’re in for a treat.

Only slight nag was some of the extra inflated costs. However. It’s what you pay for the rest of the class experience and worth it. Mosquitoes are present so pack some spray, but that’s again what you should expect anywhere in Sri Lanka.

There is truly nothing that could describe the dreamy location of Malabar Hill better that the word Paradise. Form the villas, the pool, the food, the service, the flora and fauna; you couldn‘t ask for more. We will definitely stay there again!
