Loved the ambience,garden,open to air restaurant, personalised service and bonfire. Loved every bit of our stay.

The property COTTAGES @ VILLAGE on Bhimtal-Naukuchiatal Road has been advertised on platforms like Booking.com with appealing pictures and descriptions to attract customers. However, my experience with this property was far from satisfactory. The rooms provided were dirty, foul-smelling, and completely different from the pictures shown online. Despite raising concerns, the property manager refused to address the issue or provide a refund for the advance payment, citing cancellation policies. This misleading representation and lack of accountability reflect poor service and unethical practices.

The best thing about the property was the food and the staff. Food was delicious, like home and quite tasty. Staff was quite good, friendly to talk, caring and also served well. Also arranged well our need of extra bedding on the sofa. A small play area with swing, badminton and cricket.

Booking.com rates it as a 4 star property which is absolutely incorrect(booking to be blamed for this). Its a 3 star at best. The images in booking looked so different from reality, images are much fancy than reality(property to be blamed for this). The location is a little remote but not bad. The rooms are a little small, bathroom was a little unclean, more like a 2 or 3 star. There was cricket bat which was broken and badminton shuttle was unplayable too unfortunately. I tried to change my booking from 2 days to 1 day. Property owner said he is ok if booking.com allows it. I raised date change request on booking.com which got denied saying property declined, not sure if booking.com lied or the owner

Breakfast, food was good. Open space and nursery were pleasant.

Prices are very high compared to facilities. Bonefire fire in room specially.
