Chale Island Resort

The best hotel we ever stayed at. It was our honeymoon and the place definitely contributed to our happiness. The staff is exceptional. The only private beach in Kenya (all the beaches are public but since this one is on island...), and it's a big win among all the other hotels on the coast. The food and drinks were great. The place is really quite and calm. The beach isn't that big, but there were little people, too. The house we accommodated was big, beautiful and had everything one might need. I want to highlight it that they really invested into interiors. Absolutely unique place. Loved it, would come again.

Nothing, really. Couldn't come up with anything to complain about :) It would be awesome to have filter coffee though!

This a good place.

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles sehr schön. Das Personal ist spitze und sehr aufmerksam. Der Bungalow war in einer sehr guten Lage und ruhig.

Die Auflagen am Bungalow waren beide sehr schmutzig. Sie wurden nicht ausgetauscht obwohl wir es anzeigten. Bei der Rezeption würde ich mir noch einbischen mehr Freundlichkeit wünschen und einpaar Deutschkentnisse.

We had a wonderful stay at Chale Island Resort and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. The location is absolutely stunning, with a gorgeous beach and amazing ocean views. We visited during the so-called rainy season, but the weather was actually fantastic throughout our stay. Since there were very few guests at the resort, the entire staff took exceptional care of us and made our vacation feel incredibly personal and relaxing.

The team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We would also especially like to mention the General Manager Andrea, who is a true professional and a real master of the art of hospitality. His care, attention to detail, and dedication made our stay even more memorable. One more recommendation for future guests — definitely take a canoe and paddle around the island. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
