Location good. Staff friendly. Room clean but a bit tired. Breakfast reasonably good.

Noise: could hear EVERYTHING in adjacent room - no sound deadening whatsoever. This kept us awake on three separate occasions. Room quite dark - not easy to see inside drawers and wardrobe. Some furniture broken and a bit tired.

Very quiet location and a good standard m. The staff were delightful.

It is a shame that they do not serve snacks and drinks by the pool. Polycarbonate items could be used to avoid broken glass etc in the area. Also the full menu never seemed to be available and it was quite a task to have a sandwich at lunch time!

"A perfect start to our India holiday"

This was a perfect start to our long holiday in India. We arrived too early to check into our room, but we were shown to the lovely terrace and given coffee and muffins. Our room looked over the lake and there was always plenty of wildlife to watch from the terrace. The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed - there was even a jacuzzi which we used on one evening. The pool was beautifully clean and lit up in the evening. The restaurant is lovely and we had all our wonderful meals on the terrace overlooking the sea - just idyllic. All the staff were great, but we have to give a special mention to Adarsh who was our waiter for most meals - such a lovely man and a great credit to the hotel.

The resort’s location is absolutely stunning, with the beach on one side and serene backwaters on the other, making it a truly calm and peaceful getaway. The rooms are beautiful, neat, and clean, and the staff is extremely polite. If you’re planning to stay in Cherai, this is definitely the place to choose.
