The RiverKwai Bridge Resort

Great location. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. The bed and pillows are a little hard and not as comfortable as we are use to, not awfull though. The resort's gardens are very beautiful.

The location was fantastic. Walking distance to river Kwai Bridge and a lot of restaurants and bars. When we wanted to go further to town there was always a tuk tuk near by for around 60 baht. The breakfast on the river was lovely and the pool was refreshing. Rooms cleaned daily and they had beer available at reception very cheap. Would come back and stay here again. Staff were always very pleasant.

The only slight thing was the lack of hot water, although I think it was just our room as a friend was next door and he said it was hot. Not a deal breaker as it was very warm while we were there so probably didn't need hot water.

Friendly staff. Lovely room, firm, comfortable bed and set amongst trees with a short path leading to the restaurant beside the river and a view of the bridge. Good breakfast available. A two minute walk to the Kwai Bridge. There is a restaurant across the road from the resort which served the tastiest food we ate in Kanchanaburi. Ten minute tuk tuk ride to the cemetery, museum and night market.

There is a water boiling machine in the room but a kettle would have been easier and more efficient.

Location is great. It is walkable distance to museum, River Kwai Bridge. You can catch early train around 7 am if you want to go historic landmark Krasae Cave.

No major issues.

Right next to the river but no rooms ( that I could see ) with a view of the river.....strange. Bed was not comfortable, breakfast was "ok"....
