Calamari Beach Resort

The staff are so kind and super friendly. The food was one of the best highlight of our trip here in Zanzibar. The view was super fantastic. Leah and other receptionist were super helpful to us in many ways. They helped me with payment methods even outside of the resort. It was the best experience that i wish to live for again. Highly recommend staying here during trip to Zanzibar.

It very pretty. Pool was nice. Staff were very good. Check in was great.

No shade around the pool. Room was odd - very big but seemed unfinished. Door handles were on upside down, the curtains were on backwards so black out lining was facing wrong way, there wardrobes doors were missing. There weee random holes in the walls and also there was no door to the bathroom. Nothing big but just odd. Biggest genuine issue was no mosquito nets on the bed and windows and doors and holes in theirs. So no huge complaints but at same time price point of this resort requires small details to be better.

The place was very nice in a serene environment. Staff were friendly. Was cosy, and the food was nice. The manager went out of her way to decirate our apartment for my husbands birthday. Thank you, Leah, and thank you, Calamari. I would surely recommend friends over 😊

The road going to the villas needs a lot of attention as it doesn't really portray a good picture of what's ahead. Once someone books, all costs should be mentioned to clients.

AC was not cooling, several people came to check it to no avail. Ants,flies, and mosquito everywhere even after spraying insecticides in the room twice, proper fumigation is needed Pool was dirty Location was too far from everything, it was awfully quiet and boring. Breakfast was very poor, no varieties. Bathroom has plumbing issues and foul smell especially when u flush. WiFi was very poor and only works in some part of the apartment.

The beach isn’t that great if you want to go swimming and lying on the beach. However, if you want to relax, it’s unbelievably perfect
