It’s incredible being so close to absolutely amazing animals. Especially being woken by the sound of the elephant trumpets each morning. We booked a day long tour which was easy to book and Ai was extremely knowledgeable as she showed us around the various enclosures

I appreciate that part of the expense of the property is to cover costs and support the animals however the room had no hot water which was a shame given the high price (in comparison to other Thai hotels). Also, whilst a nice idea, non waterproof covers are used for the sun loungers which makes it quite uncomfortable/unusable if others have been on them prior/it’s rained badly

We loved this experience, it was very special waking up and seeing an elephant from your balcony! The staff were great and the whole place had a lovely feel. Great breakfast too.

What a great place, Edwin (the founder of the sanctuary) and his team are REAL elephant (and other animal) lovers. And the lodging here is of sublime luxury, super good food, lovely drinks, great pool - and every USD you invest help the elephants. Comme here and stay longer, it's worth it! Nothing, could not be better! Great location, fantastic food, nice drinke and most of all - superbe staff with a lot of love for elephants and the other animals, great guides, you just wish to be able to support the organisation more.

Staying at I Love Phants was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It’s part of a sanctuary where elephants, monkeys, tigers, birds, and many other animals now live their best lives after being rescued from heartbreaking situations. The care and dedication of the people here is clear in every corner of the property. The lodge itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees and wildlife. From my balcony, I watched elephants on the path behind the cabins, gently breaking branches to fan themselves for hours. A tortoise made its home under the cabin next door, and each evening, the lyrical calls of gibbons and other monkeys filled the air. At night, I drifted off to sleep to the sound of elephants nearby, something I’ll never forget. The tour was excellent; informative and moving. It gave me a deeper understanding of the animals’ pasts and the new lives they have here, free and safe. On a more personal note, a small cat with a moon-marked face found me my first night and decided to keep me company in her quiet, independent way. Her presence brought an unexpected joy that made my stay even more special.

Practical note: my hot water didn’t work at times during my visit, but this didn’t overshadow the experience in any way.

Everything was amazing. But the villa 3 was out of this world. Watching the elephants from our pool and watching the gibbons was so much fun

The accommodation and the safari was enlightening and special in many ways a must do .
